I got this for my wife as her autumn jacket was looking a little sad. As we approach the time of year where the mornings can start chilly, the days a bit warm, and scattered rain and drizzle can cool things off quickly, it's nice to have something that will work in all environments. This jacket is very well made for the price it goes for. All of the angles are straight and even. The stitching is well done. The material seems to have a bit of a water resistant property as well. I don't think it's going to do much in a downpour, for little drizzles it should bead up and roll off well enough to get you from the car to the front door. My wife is 5'10, and some short jackets really are too short on her. However, this one hits just right at just below her hips. It may be a bit more mid-thigh on a less tall person. This is a very nice overcoat. It runs large. I usually wear a medium or large in coats. This one is a small and it fits. I think it might be oversized to leave room for what you wear underneath. I have worn mine in the rain and it repels rain. This is a very stylish overcoat. I think it is perfect to wear to an office job. This is a nice basic double breasted trench coat in a wash and wear material Sophisticated looking and comfortable overall. I ordered a large based upon measurements and it fits well but runs snug in the shoulders However the material has a bit of give so it’s less of a problem but still cut a bit narrow at the shoulders. Everywhere else it’s pretty generous and looks nice on. It came pretty wrinkled but I’ll either let it hang or wash and dry and it’ll be perfect Use the size guide and possibly size up if you have broad shoulders.
