The rod is good for the price. This is from just looking a it, have not fished it yet. Likes: the rod has some flex, it is not like fishing with a broom stick. Cons: the metal parts like the seat and gimbals are not golden but a copper color. Would rather had a silver finish, than copper.

Bought this for my hubby for his annual deep sea fishing trip. He loved it. It comes apart so no more 8 ft PVC tube attached to the roof for the journey there. Really wanted rollers and this rod had them.

Both rods are very nice and I like them both but I ordered (2) 80-120lbs test and received 1 50-80 lbs test and 1 80-120 lbs. would like to replace the 50-80 lbs one for the one that I ordered (80-120 lbs). Amazon only refunds the purchase when sent back so I would have to reorder what I chose in the first place. The picture of the rod on the right is the correct rod.
