I drive a Subaru Outback and it goes through low beam bulbs like vitamins. To replace those bulbs requires you to disassemble parts of the engine bay or even take wheels off to access the right area. I saw these bulbs pop up when I was looking for something that would last longer than the halogens I had been using so I jumped on them. So far they are exceeding my expectations. The fit for my car is perfect, a direct swap for what I had. Since my bulb can be rotated in the mounting ring I had to ensure that the orientation of the LEDs was correct (9 and 3 o'clock according to the instructions). Total install time for me was around two hours but that's really reflective of Subaru's design choices and not Fahren's fault. If you have better access I can imagine these going in inside of 10 mins. One of my bulbs didn't work initially so I had to flip the plug around and it lit up. The light output is something else. After getting them installed I went for a test drive and discovered that I was seriously comparing my low and high beams against each other. Biggest difference? My high beams still throw light higher up but not noticeably further. That's it. These new bulbs throw so much light down the road that my high beams weren't nearly as useful as they had been previously. I was hitting highway markers well down the road and never once did I have an oncoming driver flash their high beams at me because I was blinding them. The only negative I have is the color, cool white isn't my first choice. It's a very white light but there is some blue to the light that's quickly adapted to. Definitely not blue-blue lights like some cars have. I also have projector lenses for my low beams so if you don't have those then you may have a different experience on the road with other drivers but this is true for any bulb. A little hard to install. I had replaced headlight units with aftermarket ones. Uses H-1 bulbs and the clips were hard to fasten because the led h-1's are fatter and longer than the old ones. But happy with brighter lights. First picture is driver side on low with new led-second picture is passenger side with new high-beam led. Still adjusting lights to get best area let-up but no other drivers flashing there high-beams at me yet. ... show more

Installed these on my wife's 2018 Toyota Rav 4 it has projector housing headlights and the factory bulbs were horrible. installed these in 5 minutes and that was after i plugged 1 in backwards. turned them on and BANG the reflection off my chrome bumper of my truck was stupid bright and that was 20 minutes before sunset. haven't driven with them yet so i will update my review after ive used them a while ... show more

The wires hit the retaining ring on the 9007 design light mount. I had to use a dremel tool to remove a quarter inch of the ring to accommodate a fit that didn't damage the wires or push the light off center. Once fitted in my Duarango I was happy with the illumination which is far superior to stock replacement bulbs. I had a different brand LED bulbs in my Highlander than the old LED bulbs starting to go out. I replaced the old bulbs with these new Fahren LED bulbs. They work perfect in my 2006 Toyota Highlander. They are a huge upgrade to the vehicle from the old incandescent halogen bulbs. The halogen bulbs looked light a 1980s flashlight compared to these new Fahren bulbs. These bulbs really light the road very well and nobody ever flashes their lights at me. I am so impressed, I am removing the old brand 9005 highbeam LED bulbs from my Highlander and I am replacing them with even brighter Fahren LED bulbs. excellent fit in 2003 Porsche Cayenne. The previous owner had swapped in LED lights but one was starting to dim. I chose the Fahren H7 LED because they were rated brightest for the price and seemed less bulky than others. Both points turned out to be correct. These were easy to install with a smaller cooling enclosure and electronics enclosure than the bulbs they replaced. Installation was a breeze on the Porsche. The package includes double backed adhesive to mount the circuit enclosure to the housing and zip ties to keep the wiring away from the fan, but day 2 and no problems so far. These were also priced less than half the price of the set of LED H7's carried by a national auto parts chain. One thing to note is that LEDs are diodes so the polarity must be correct or they will not turn on. Easy to correct, just pull the assembly out again and flip the connector around 180 degrees to the correct polarity. Both bulbs are well matched in color, brightness, and beam shape. will order these again when the time comes to replace the high beams. The materials feel very solid and the set was well packaged. I installed these in my wife’s 2019 Honda Accord EX-L 1.5T, and they have been a huge upgrade over the factory installed high beams. I don’t know why Honda paired halogen high beams with LED low beams, but these LEDs truly match the low beams in terms of light color and intensity.
