These were the 2nd set of 9012/HIR2 LED bulbs that I purchased for my 2014 Chrysler 300. The first pair were nice and bright but were too deep and wouldn’t allow me to properly install the rear cover of the headlight assembly. These bulbs are not as deep and I was able to install the rear cover properly. My biggest frustration, and the only reason these don’t get 5 stars is because the collar that locks the LED into the headlight chassis rotates around the LED shaft itself. The intention behind this, I believe, is to orient the LEDs correctly (vertically) inside the headlight assembly to produce the correct and most effective light pattern. BUT in practice because this collar is as loose as it is, once getting the bulb “locked” into place, it may continue rotating. Mine did this so much so that the bulb became loose in the collar and the bulb came out but the collar stayed in the headlight assembly. This isn’t an insurmountable problem, but it is a real pain to deal with. The good: - Bulbs fit very well in fully enclosed headlight due to shallower design than other LEDs being sold here and elsewhere. - Visibility is much improved over the original Halogen bulbs. The bad: - The collar which locks the bulb into the headlight chassis is loose enough to rotate around the LED shaft. If this happens, the collar can become locked in the headlight while the LEDs come loose. - They’re not the brightest LEDs you can buy, they're not as bright as the other LEDs that didn’t fit due to depth. Other: - Not able to judge their longevity as they’ve only been installed a couple weeks. - Concerns about the heat generated (common to all LEDs) and the headlight enclosure - This is just the way that this is - it’s not the fault of the bulb. ... show more

Read instructions and look at the bulb to see which way they call for installation. I put my first set in the wrong way because I didn't look that they put the word top on the bulb. They were good but nothing fantastic but after I put them in the right direction good lord they are bright! The leds are meant to point a certain direction for optimum performance. I've bought alot of different brands for different vehicles and fahren has outperformed them all by a mile. I have fahren in all 5 of my vehicles now and other friends and family have switched as well. Just hands down the best lights and the best price also ... show more

    • WOW can you say BRIGHT LIGHT

These are the brightest LEDs I have had in any car. I had HIDS before but to me these and much brighter and whiter in color. But you will need to readjust the lights BECAUSE the beams will change after you swap out the older halogen bulbs. Rule of thumb when adjusting 25ft out your lights should be on the ground at the brightest spot. That way you'll have full visibility on the road and you won't be blinding anybody when you pull up behind them or approaching it ongoing traffic. That way you can avoid the high beam flashes telling you your lights are too high. Here's a little joke when I first install my and didn't adjust anything. Drove to Costco to pick up something real quick jumped on the freeway pulled up behind this lady the inside of her car looked like she was on the movie set from these LEDs 🙃😱 I felt bad so I slowed down so my lights didn't bother her. When I got home I lowered my lights way down since one was okay but the driver side was hitting the freeway signs 😲. I already recommend these to 4 family members ... show more
