  • [ WASHING & DRYING INSTRUCTIONS ] Our stretchy fabric can only be hand washed. You can use lukewarm water (max 30C) for both washing and rinsing. For drying, after you carefully wash it, just let it drip-dry

This is a nice, thick cotton spandex with great recovery. I have purchased nearly every color. With it, I’ve constructed fitted adult t-shirts, as well as baby clothes. This fabric doesn’t bleed and I’ve not noticed any fading or pilling after multiple washes. Its quality exceeds anything I have found locally. It also ships very quickly and the yardage is always accurate. Will continue to utilize this source for my cotton Lycra fabric needs! Update 9/2019: The items I sewed are still looking great! They have been washed almost weekly and absolutely no pills, fading or holes. This fabric is ah-maze-ing. And no, I’m not getting a discount for writing this review. I have no affiliation with the manufacturer/seller of this fabric. I just love it that much. ❤️ Update 2/2021: THREE years later and the t-shirts I’ve made with this fabric still look like new. No fading, holes or pilling. They get lots of wear! Fabric from other sources has not fared nearly as well. I bought this to make tank top for summer. Perfect weight. Good stretch recovery, minimal shrinkage. I always wash fabric before sewing. I will be buying more.

While this is beautiful fabric it comes in 1 yard pieces! Why in the world would you sell fabric in one yard pieces? I ordered 4 yards, I thought! And it came in 4 - one yard packages! We who are seamstresses, would rather have our fabric in a complete 4 yard piece! So disappointed in how this is sent as it made fitting the pattern on the fabric very difficult! ... show more

I bought this over a year ago and made a pair of joggers! I also made a pair of underwear with the scraps. It’s such a perfect weight. Thick/heavy enough to be opaque and not stretch out too much between washes, but thin/light enough to not be bulky or make me overheat. The joggers I made are holding up wonderfully, even at the inner thigh. I tend to destroy fabrics there (thicc thigh problems), and while I’m sure I will wear this down eventually, it’s still going strong after probably 9 months of frequent wear. I purchased this fabric to make leggings. While it was easy to work with, the fabric is not very soft and doesn't stretch as expected. It is also quite thin. This fabric would be more suitable for crafting, or possibly loose-fitting clothes.
