Finally got around to using this EZlifego Double Sided Heavy Duty Tape and I was pleasantly surprised. It is extra sticky, but it cuts well and is rather easy to apply. It stuck well to the plastic trim in my truck and to the rubbery flexible pad I was using as a cushion to provide traction for my dog when he was putting his paws on the window opening to look outside the truck. As of now, the tape has worked quite well and not come loose on the edges. I cannot comment on long-term adhesion, though, at this point. However, acknowledging how well it stuck to the car trim, rubber pad and my fingers, it should be quite effective. ... show more

I absolutely love this tape. Just bought my 3rd roll. I even given a roll as a gift. I use it to mount LED Fairy Lights on all my windows, glass doors and even the side rails of my inside stairs (purple lights in Halloween picture). Important facts -invisible, durable, pretty easy to handle (it is sticky), teflon blade scissors are helpful if you have them, easy to remove from glass. For many years I hung miniature lights in all my windows. A couple years back I started having trouble with the application - hot glue gun used on low setting. Use to work great, lasted all season. Bit of a pain with reaching across bigger windows seeing it was plugged in. Then all of a sudden the hot glue would not hold the lights in place? Tried different brand of glue stick, even bought Gorilla sticks. No luck. Maybe it was the window cleaner leaving a residue? Long story no reason found for hot glue not working any longer. Then I saw a Youtube video for this tape. Bought it and viola it worked. So much easier, quicker and cleaner (no glue strings). I cut a 1/2" piece off of the roll, then cut that piece in 1/2. You don't need much, light string is very thin. Place wire against window and then place tape (DO NOT REMOVE THE BACKER PAPER the tape will stick to your finger) squarely on the wire (the tape has a bit of thickness to it )and press in place to the window. I leave the backer paper in place, it's invisible. Depending on the size of the window you only need tape in the corners and 2 or 3 more pieces along each side. For Valentine's Day I traced a large heart with a fine tip marker on to the glass, I then applied the lights free form. I originally put tape pieces on the heart outline first to make sure that I got the shape I wanted but then I had to press the wire into the top surface of the tape. That didn't work as well. I would say SANDWICH THE WIRE BETWEEN THE GLASS AND THE TAPE is the BEST way to have a sucessful job. The lights I put on my stairs for Halloween are applied the same way. Note it is a painted surface, semi gloss latex. Did this twice and neither time did the tape remove any paint. Applied on flat latex I have no idea. Oh this tape does not typically come off like a piece of scotch or masking tape. You really roll the piece of tape off of the surface. I suggest DO NOT pull the wires to remove the tape, lift a little and roll tape. Good Luck and happy decorating ... show more

Whatever amount of this tape you're about to use, it's too much -- unless it's something you never want to come off for the rest of eternity. If you've got a mummy's tomb to seal, this is the tape you want for the job. If there's an earthquake and California is about to fall into the Pacific Ocean, the government had better use this stuff to keep it in place. Had Abraham Lincoln had this tape in 1860, the South would not have been able to secede. This stuff is so strong, it transcends the physical realm. It will keep your relationship together. If your boyfriend is about to leave you, just take this out of the drawer and show it to him. You don't even need to apply it. Its power is so strong he will be unable to leave you. This tape creates a bond that cannot be broken. Use with caution. ... show more

After reading some reviews I was expecting this to be very hard to remove once stuck. That is not the case. Although it is sticky it not too sticky. Make sure you do not touch the tape with your hands or that part will be unusable because of the oils. Before you stick it, you MUST clean the surface thoroughly with a lint free cloth. I tried washing the tape with some soapy water and then letting it dry. It is no where near as sticky as it was new. Be sure to let the tape sit for at least 15 minutes before applying any weight to it. I am satisfied with the purchase but I am a little disappointed that it isn't stickier. ... show more

I wanted to stick a laminated map to my louvered closet doors. The map came rolled up and when I cut it into strips, each piece was still curled a little bit. Loops of masking tape failed. I tried this double sided "tape" and it worked great. The map has been holding for a week as I write this review. The red lines in the photo show how I applied tape to hold down a piece of map. A few comments about what this stuff is like: • It does not remove cleanly from paper. See photo. This wasn't my application, but I was curious. • If you've ever seen the rubbery glue that holds inserts into magazines, it's like that. It's not like tape. It's like a strip of deformable adhesive. • When you peel tape off the roll, the side of the tape that faced the roll is open faced. The top of the piece you pull off has a peel-off piece of plastic on it. • That peel-off piece of plastic keeps the tape in a tape-like form. • The peel-off piece of plastic is pretty easy to peel off. (I've used other things with backing where the backing is maddening to remove.) • Keep the plastic backer in place and stick the tape to what you want to stick it to. • On my laminated map, peeling this tape off to reposition required a lot of force. Removing it from something more delicate than laminated stock would probably wrinkle what you were removing it from. • I can't comment on whether this tape will remove the paint on my doors. All in all, I'd say this tape is great for laminated material. I wouldn't have any concerns about sticking stuff to plastic surfaces or metal surfaces. Painted surfaces I can't comment on. ... show more
