It came well wound and sealed, and prints well at recommended settings on my Ender 3 S1 Plus. I've burned a roll of the stuff over the last couple days and encountered no issues with the filament itself. It seems to even have decent moisture resistance as I left the spool on the holder for quite some time during idles and didn't encounter any moisture popping or weird bubbles on my prints. Color is classic ODG, gods favorite color, and is a decent match for the olive drab found in say some sun bleached old M81 BDUs or a slightly faded ammo can paint job. Printed at 215C and 0.12mm layer height and wow this stuff is incredible. It just feels tough on my 2 inch mini. When cleaning the support material, the parts just flexed out of the way of my pliers and sprung right back. The higher melting point of this PLA+ also allowed me to get my lighter in small places to clean up and not soften thin sections. Completely worth the $25. ... show more

Printing is good, but avoid over heated in surface treatment. When I use torch to smooth the surface it smells a little bit like pvc, not the pure pla smell -- I guess they add a little bit other plastic to improve the performace

Update: Filament did dry out after about 48 hours or so in the dehydrator. Now it prints fine, no crackling or popping, and the print quality is good. Upgrading to only 3 stars as I still was not able to use it straight out of the box. ....................................................... Spool came in properly packaged within the vacuum sealed plastic and a bag of desiccant. However after opening it and putting straight away on my printer, there is a lot of popping and crackling when printing, indicating that the filament is very wet and the moisture is boiling away as it gets heated up to a molten state. The resulting prints also confirm this, as the prints have this "fuzzy" texture to them and are not smooth, although dimensions are accurate. Filament did not dry after about 12 hours in a food dehydrator. Leaving it for another 12 or so hours or until it stops crackling and I get a smooth print. I've used other brands before for my filament needs and this is the first time I'm experiencing such a wet filament right out of the box. I can only assume that I got a VERY old stock from the depths of the Amazon's warehouse where it was sitting on a shelf for months and months if not years. Filament needs a manufacturing date to be stamped on it, similar to a produce if this is a result of a prolonged sitting on the shelf. ... show more

Really happy with the seller and the delivery service, got the product three days before expected. The package came in perfect conditions, the exact same colour I ordered, filament roll came vacuum sealed and with dissecant bag inside. You can tell is an original esun product. About the product itself, esun PLA+ is my favorite PLA brand. Really dimensionally accurate, clean, nice and vivid colors, doesn't clog, great layer adherence and the roll doesn't tangle. I dont know why i ordered this brand but, with my 1st print with it, it did not disappoint. I ordered black even though i still have some black from another roll. Well im trashing my old roll. I have had trouble with my prints laying down and sticking. Another brand actually clogged up and i had to replace my entire hot end. It flowed nicely, laid down clean and stuck to the bed. In general I get filament from the same manufacturer so it is easier to manage. I settled on eSun for some unknown reason and I have not seen any reason to change. If I need a special color, type, etc. of filament I will order from others if eSun does not have it. One problem, Amazon or eSun. There are listings where the filament comes from the eSun store and it is labeled as coming from a small business. Amazon says a small business is US, eSun is in china. Amazon says a small business does a couple of million, eSun does a couple of billion. Amazon says the company has less than 100 employees, eSun has thousands. Contacted Amazon customer service to point this out. They said it would change within days. It's been close to a year. Amazon customer service said any seller that lied would be removed, eSun is still selling. ... show more

Great stuff. Prints perfectly, very nice quality. Didn't really need to be dried at all out of the package and the prints are considerably more durable than regular PLA that I've used.
