We bought them for the looks and that they are black out curtains. Very nice looking, heavy duty material as well. They're pretty much wrinkle free and do a good job of blocking out the light. We are thinking of buying another pair of probably different pattern for the living room. These were bought for the kitchen patio sliding glass door and are perfect. I bought this for my science room and it works just great. I just put them up today. You are able to see where the curtain is folded but I figure that it will come out over time. The material is quite soft. These curtains would work in several different settings. Worth my money.

These curtains are great! I bought these for my little boys room as they wake up super early with all the natural light that comes into our house. These have been the best investment in darkening type curtains yet. Most other “darkening curtains” I have purchased never really darkened. These are not completely black out but definitely darken quite a bit and enough that my kids sleep in a bit longer in the morning which for any parent is a plus!
