I'm a backup singer! So when the band leader asked if I would also play the glockenspiel I was scared. This made it so easy because the notes are etched on the bars. The stand is very sturdy and the carry case is great!

The weld that attaches the Glockenspiel to the stand will break, but there is an easy fix!
I have now purchased 3 of these Glockenspiel instruments for my school band. The weld breaks that attaches the glockenspiel to the stand, but there is a fairly easy fix: a 1 inch bolt same size thread as the size of the nut thread, a couple of lock washers, a couple of flat washers and a coupler, all

Works great for my 6th grader!
Very easy to assemble/disassemble! Keys marked clearly for beginners. Love the carrying case so kiddo can travel with it to school. Only con: no packing / padding included so we use some bubble wrap to go around the stand when storing it in the bag so that it doesn’t damage the keys.

We purchased this for my daughter who wants to play percussion in band. She has enjoyed learning how to play it. It is an excellent place for her to start. Easy to set-up and comes with mallets
Got this product for my son to practice at home for band. He liked the ease of setting it up and was playing the instrument in minutes. He also liked that it had a carrying case, just in case he had to take it somewhere to play. The sound is slightly high-pitched, but not to terrible.

Sounds great, even for a beginner but the mallets are complete plastic and one of each came with a bent handle that if not careful will throw off your playing

With the number of keys it's possible to play about anything. The sound is true to key, and the ring sustain is clear, not flat sounding at all. After buying other products like this, I am pleased, and very glad I purchased this product.

The attachment to the stand broke
The stand screws into the bottom of the bell kit and after a little while the part that it threads into eventually broke out of the bottom of the bell kit. The broken part is basically just a single nut pressed into the base if the instrument so after a while it eventually just worked itself out. Onc
e if failed, there's really no way to secure it back in unless you're handy with a welder. I am not. So, I guess I either need to find a stand for this thing, or just throw it away and buy another one. Too bad really, the price was right. But in this case you I got what I paid for.
