I was searching for a comforter for weeks before I decided on this one. I was reading so many review, and while many were 4.5 stars, it seemed like the bad stars were REALLY bad. I didn't want to take my chance. You get what you pay for. A $20 comforter is not going to be great. A $300 comforter is going to be extremely luxurious. But this is the next best thing. The price point is great for the quality. This comforter is lightweight, yet keeps me warm. I have slept with it on warm nights and cool, and it does the job. On warm nights, I only sleep with this on my bed. When it gets cooler, I put a soft blanket or two on my bed as well. Many negative reviews are about washing the comforter, which is shocking. YOU NEED A DUVET COVER. while the comforter may say it is machine washable, it does loosen things up and cause more room for error, like tears or pulls (I haven't washed this comforter). BUY A COVER FOR IT! It is goofy not to. unzipping and washing a cover is a lot easier than ruining a nice comforter itself. I got my cover on amazon, and it was $20. Very nice. You can also get softer ones so it feels better when you are sleeping. Overall for the price this product is great. Buy a cover for it, and enjoy! UPDATE: it is now hot outside and I don't have AC, just a fan in the window. It won't keep you "cool" but it is lightweight enough to be the only blanket on your bed. ... show more
