This slicer is exactly what I was looking for. It is compact, easy to clean, and performs just as advertised. We are a small family and generate a lot of leftovers so now that roast or turkey breast we made can be sliced up in thin slices for French Dip and thick slices for meals as well. I purchased the CukAid 7.5" Food Slicer in June and have used it four times. It is a very nice unit, though it cuts slowly, it does a very decent job. You will need to rotate the block/roll you are cutting every other cut or so to maintain slice uniformity. The backstop does flex a little, so do not apply too much back force or it may cause the slice setting to change unexpectedly. The slice setting provides a wide range up to approx. 7/8 inches. I have cut salami, boneless ham, turkey breast, cheese and partially frozen hamburger purchased in a 5 to 10 lb. log roll. Please note that the slicer will not slice if the meat is fully frozen. This slicer has met all of my expectations. But here is the great part. The last time I went to use the slicer I discovered that part of the red switch cover had broken. I contacted the company via email and after a couple of exchanges, the company is honoring their commitment by replacing the unit I have. Free of charge. No hassle, no complaints. It works! I like some meats thinly sliced and others, thicker. Thickness choices are NOT fixed by the manufacturer. Although the description online says you can cut frozen meats, the instruction manual with the unit states you should NOT use to cut bones or frozen food. Instructions are not really provided for removing or changing blades. (It looks like you use a flathead screwdriver to turn the "blade axle" but I HAVE NOT TRIED so obviously be very careful). My first use was to slice pretty thinly leftover (refrigerated) corned beef brisket and the slicer did very well. Next will be slicing roast beef deli thin! ... show more

I bought this to get even slices from Costco Boneless ham. I had to cut the ham in half before slicing because of the size limitation of the guard. All in all, it makes a good thin slice on ham and hard cheddar. That’s all I have used it for, but that’s why I bought it. Clean-up is fairly easy. The media could not be loaded. I must start by admitting a mistake on my part. I ordered and received this slicer in August 2022 as a wedding gift to my wife and I. It was stored without opening and inspecting, thus a chance to return through Amazon was lost. 🤦♂️ As you can see in the video, the blade does not spin true. The blade itself is okay, but the plastic hub the blade is attached to is warped. I have contacted the manufacturer via email, per instructions on the 12 month warranty card, but have yet to receive a response. I'll update if that changes, but at this point I believe I'm out of luck. ... show more

This electric meat slicer is easy to use and requires no complicated assembly. It can cut meat or fruit into thin slices you want. If you like preparing your Chinese hot pot, this is a must-have. Of course, it would be better if there were more speed options.

    • Worked great and saves SOOO much time!
I just got my slicer and am happy that the machine seems to be all metal. I used it to slice a 6 lb eye of round for jerky and it took less than 10 minutes. Just make sure your meat is firm frozen and it slices "like butter". The backing plate is pretty sturdy, but I did find if I pushed in too hard it would slide table back and make thicker cuts. I just kept one hand on the thickness dial to assure it stayed put and didn't push into the backing plate real hard. I turned the chunk of meat over every so often to cut off the "tail/wing" along the bottom when the meat thawed too much. Cleanup was a breeze. With the firm meat there was almost no mess. I just threw the detachable pieces in the dishwasher and wiped down the rest. Very few nooks and crannies to worry about. It is a great little machine for the price! I love it! ... show more
