The material is OK. It feels more polyester than soft cotton. But it's decent for the price. Also it was a bit difficult to find basic cardigans for kids in these colors from other brands.

I got this lightweight sweater for my daughter, who absolutely loves dresses and wants to wear them the moment the sun starts to shine. This is a great sweater to wear over them, offering extra layers when the morning is still chilly but not smothering her once it inevitably warms up in the afternoon. It is soft, nice material without a ton of loose strings, the buttons are easy to do, and it washed nicely. I ordered a size up, and it must run big because my daughter will have room to grow. This cardigan is lovely. I had a hard time picking a color since there were several I liked- I went with white. The white cardigan is bright white and looks just as pictured. I did find the fit to be a little big, but I don't mind this since it gives a longer period of wear. The fabric is pretty stretchy so this will be able to be worn for a long time. This cardigan is such a nice wardrobe staple that I will likely order more colors since it is a nice simple and versatile design. It's easy to go casual or dress up. The knit is not very heavy. It's something that can be worn for coverage or just to take a light chill off, but it's surely not a cold weather item. This review is for the ElecMotive girl’s lightweight cardigan, white, 3T. I sized up so that my small 2 year old can hopefully wear this for several seasons- I wouldn’t recommend sizing up unless you like a longer and larger fit. Primarily I got this for her to wear as a light layer over sleeveless or short sleeved dresses and outfits when the weather is cool. The sweater is very lightweight and looks very delicate- I’m hoping that it holds up- but the majority of the stitching and construction looks fine. I got this Cardigan sweater in white for my 6 year old. It pairs well with dresses or more casual pants and a short sleeve shirt. Sometimes in the spring it is chilly in the morning or night and this is easy for my daughter to put on and off by herself when she gets chilly. It is a medium material, not too thick but it's enough to keep her warm in cool weather. The buttons appear to hold up well and the material is easy to wash and dry. Ordered this for my daughter's Easter outfit. It was perfect for the day, as it's a soft, thin material she was not too hot. I ordered the light pink color and the color is accurate to the picture and coordinated perfectly to her outfit. The cardigan did look a bit wide on her shoulders. My daughter is very tall and slender, so it might just be her body shape. I'd rather clothing be too big so she grows into it, so it's not a big deal to me.
