The sound quality isnt as good as my previous headset but it's not bad. They fit well and are pretty good at blocking out sound which has been great since theres been construction going on near me. The one weird aspect is that when you move the mic it says "microphone on" or "microphone off" in a pseudo-eastern european/asian accent while silencing everything that's going on, including if you're in a meeting with people. It has a voice that tells you if your microphone is on or off when it gets plugged in, or if you move the mic boom up (muted) or down (live mic). Really have appreciated this feature. The headset is very comfortable, in that it feels light weight. The noise cancelling feature is really efficient.

I chose these headphones while looking for flip-mute USB headsets that were somewhat inexpensive. Within minutes of unpacking, I regretted the choice. There is a loud, heavily-accented voice that announces every time you mute or unmute. While that sound effect is playing, it cuts off all of your audio. If your customer or boss just said something important, too bad. This unwanted "feature" cannot be disabled. It's pretty bad. If you intend to use your headphones in meetings, for important conversations, or are just not feeling peripherals that talk to you, find something else. ... show more

I purchased them for singing and they are excellent, they have fantastic sound quality, I was concerned mostly about echo and the tinny sound when you record but these have great recording capability. The headset works. I blocks out the background noise due to the over-the-ear headphone design - the noise cancellation feature seems unnoticeable. I dinged the review for two reasons: 1. You cannot hear yourself talk - there is no audible feedback of one's voice, especially since the earpieces do a reasonable job of blocking out the background noise. Talking becomes much harder than it should be. 2. The audio quality of the headphones is only fair - I have to crank up the volume just to understand the other party. The controls work, but feel cheap and are awkward to use. For about $50 these really aren't bad for the price. But you will be wanting more features and better quality. ... show more
