I have been insanely impressed by Eczema Honey products and this Eczema Honey 15% Vitamin C + Ferulic Acid for Face is no different! This serum is smooth and goes on clean, rub it in and it will provide extra moisture to your skin - depending on if your outside and other environmental factors will determine how long it lasts - this lasted all night for my son and all day when applied in the morning. My skin felt moisturized without being heavy with products or looking like I have a thick cream on. I am using this to replace SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic and the price difference is amazing. Excellent for dry, normal and sensitive skin. Provides environmental protection by neutralizing damaging free radicals, improvement of find lines/wrinkles, loss of firmness and brightens skin! Fair Price because it will last us a few months - a little goes a long ways! Glass bottle with pipette Scent - smells exactly like SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic - slightly smokey and warm embers - the smell dissipates very quickly. Color - yellow but does not stain skin. Skin Type - I am 36 with and my skin type is - Dry, slightly combination and it tends to be sensitive on my cheeks where I have seasonal rosacea. I have some fine wrinkles around my eyes and a few broken capillaries on my cheeks.     • The smell though
It's a fine product. I've not noticed any issues out of it, does what it says it will do. But it does smell like vape liquid. Don't put it on at bedtime and expect cuddles if you're living a nicotine-free life.

    • It was alright
I wanted to like this product since it seemed to have decent claims and ingredients. I tried it for about a month and a half on my acne prone combo skin. Having had another product with ferulic acid before, the smell was pretty much the same, almost sweet/herbal-like, but didn't bother me. The texture was super runny, like water, and I had to quickly apply it to my face before it dripped elsewhere. After application, the area doesn't dry down, it remains tacky. Additionally, I noticed there was basically little to no moisturizing aspect to it. Over the course of my use on my full face, I didn't notice any positive significant changes in both appearance or texture. I then decided to use it on half and compare the other half with using this plus a face oil (which coincidentally have vit C & E). Only then I felt it helped me a little more, I noticed mildly quicker healing of acne scars, but the rate of new acne development didn't stop either. I didn't notice any radiance boost, evening of skin tone (my face gets red easily), and did not use it long enough to notice wrinkle reduction, not that I had many to tackle at the moment. After the 1.5 months of almost daily use, I probably used about 1/6 of the bottle. Overall, if theres someone out there that knows they respond well to vitamin C and ferulic acid, this would probably work well for them too. ... show more

Anything I get, I have to always smell it first lol. For the life of me, I can not, for the first time ever, put my finger on this scent. It’s not a bad scent, although I can see some not liking it. After rubbing into my skin, the only tad bit of scent I get, is a very faint clove scent? It could just be my nose, as that is not even an ingredient. It has a baby oil consistency, just a tad thicker. It does drip after applying so just a caution. It absorbs very well in the skin. A little goes a LONG way, so for the current price, it’s definitely worth it, and it will last awhile. I only had to use 2 drops for my whole face. I have very sensitive skin, with some eczema around my hairline and arm, which is what I’ll mainly be using this for. I’ve had it on for hours with no adverse reactions. As for helping with my eczema I will be back to give my final thoughts on this product. UPDATE: I’ve been using it everyday for 6 days now, once in the morning on face and arm, and again in the evening on just my arm. I had the worse eczema on my arm, and it’s improved the dry, red area by I would say 65%! This is the only product I was using on my arm, so it’s safe to say, this stuff works!     • Smells like bacon
I really wanted to like this because it seemed eczema friendly but I hate it. I can’t get past the smell! It smells like bacon on my face. The last thing I want my face to smell like is food after washing it.

    • Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with this product...
I used this twice and my face didn't seem to agree with it. I know with some products (Such as Retinol) redness is expected and to back off for a couple days then try again. That's what I tried with this product but the breakout was far worse than the first. Very red and very warm all over. I couldn't wear foundation to cover the redness because I didn't want to put anything on my skin at that point. So, I just looked like a tomato for about a week. That's when things started to subside. Something that threw me off a bit when starting this product was the scent. Very strong and unappealing. Similar to clove oil but worse. It's also very thin even for a serum and my skin felt VERY dry after using. Again, each product is different so I didn't want to throw in the towel just because of those two issues especially in the early days of trying a product. I should have listened to my instincts. The first thing you notice with this serum is the smell. It does smell a little funny like liquid smoke, but the smell doesn’t linger when you put it on your skin. It blends easy, but I did find that it dries a little quick once it comes out of the bottle and it dries a little sticky (that problem goes away after I do the rest of my skincare routine). I’ve been using this every morning for a week now, and I can see some improvements with my skin. This helped my dry spots around my nostrils and my eyebrows. My skin also looks healthier already! I do have slightly sensitive skin, and I had no adverse reactions. I have naturally oily skin, and this product didn’t feel super heavy on my skin or cause any excess oil.
