I had to pull a disposal out of our second kitchen sink that had died, and we did not want to replace it. But the bottom of the sink was not directly over the existing drain with a P-Trap, so I just needed a 'slanted' pipe of about 10". Ordered it from Amazon and it arrived about 20 hours later. It worked perfectly to connect from the bottom of the drain to the existing pipe. I did use plumber's tape to help seal the joints and so far no water leaks. It is certainly not as strong as a regular pipe but for our situation -- where we use that second sink for light duty such as washing fruit and veggies -- it should work fine for a few years when we plan to remodel anyway. The price is pretty high from a purely cost-of-material perspective, but there does not seem to be a better option out there. Highly recommended for specific jobs. ... show more

I bought this as a replacement for an outdoor camping sink/filet table. Easy to install. Works great. I just wish the flex hose was more durable. The material is thin so it doesn't last as long as I think it should. One year year, maybe 2. With camping we put it up and take it down alot. Renovating our kitchen and bought this (overpriced) flexible p-trap for a quick setup on a temporary utility sink while our kitchen is gutted. The p trap connected to the bottom of the utility sink and the 1-1/2” drain line adapter just fine. However, when I woke up the next morning I noticed a puddle from it dripping overnight. I tried using different washer (provided and bought others from Home Depot) and it still didn’t fix the problem. Was in a pinch so had to caulk around the inside fitting and reinstalled. The leak stopped but had to cut it off to remove when I had our sink plumbing relocated, so I was unable to reuse it or return it for that matter. Disappointed I spent double of what a more sturdy one at Home Depot costs. Wouldn’t recommend this at all. ... show more

I never write reviews but I felt compelled to write one for this product. I have been remodeling my house on my own and, as you can imagine, i’ve run into problems more than things that have worked smoothly. That is especially true with the new guest bathroom vanity. Aside from the fact that the supply lines were completely wrong, replacement parts not available and the supply valves weren’t compatible (all which stumped the experts at Home Depot, Lowe’s and ACE hardware) the placement of the vanity was not the same as the one I had removed making the plumbing impossible to fit. I had resolved myself to calling a plumber but decided to see if there was a kit on amazon I could try. I ran across this product and decided that, for less than $20.00, I would give it one last shot. The pipe was delivered the next day and within 5 minutes I had a working sink!! This is the easiest thing to use EVER! I don’t know if I would use it for anything other than a bathroom sink (it may not be robust enough to handle a kitchen sink) for my use,it is absolutely brilliant!! I did need to add the 1 1/2 inch to 1 1/4inch reducing piece but you can get those at ACE or on amazon for $2.99. If you don’t know if you need one or not...get one anyway, they are cheap! ... show more
