I had to have my very talented friend set up and tune it for me. Now he's teaching me how to use it. I'm no good, but my friend plays this so well. He explains how great this guitar is for hard and classic rock. I still don't fully understand why exactly, but I believe him. I just know his hands and fingers just fly up, down and all around the neck of this guitar. He really likes it, he has a Gibson SG and had a Stratocaster.     • Telecaster on steroids!
This is a great and powerful Tele style guitar I've always liked humbuckers on a Tele to give more growl and bite. These active pickups are super-hot in sound quality and volume. The black metallic charcoal finish is awesome, with any other finish I couldn't image covering up the roasted maple neck, but it works on this guitar. It looks stylish and unique. A string thru bridge design with all black hardware sets the mood. Even the headstock has the same finish. Because the pickups are so sensitive to light touch, you can great tone even on jazz and soft licks. And if you want to unleash metal fury, you've got the means. Perfectly playable neck all the way up and down. Beautifully finished stainless-steel frets with smooth ball ends. polished, leveled and ready to play. To top it off, it passes my true new guitar test, I tune it up and use it at a gig, without any setup adjustments. ... show more

This is truly a beautiful looking and sounding guitar. I pulled it from the box, gave it a tune, and was playing without having to change anything. It performs amazing with incredible sounding active pickups on it. When paired with the right amp it holds its own against much more expensive guitars.
