yall I never use primer. All the sudden my foundation was showing EVERY pore on my face and it looked freaking awful. I would be sitting there for like 20 minutes just trying to not have little dots all over my face bc you could see every pore like foundation dots. It looked awful. I was looking for a cheaper primer and found this and it is AMAZING. I just put it on with my fingers like face lotion. I probably use too much lol but I let it sit for 2-3 minutes and then put my foundation on and my face has NEVER looked smoother. I’ll never go without it again. No joke it’s amazing. Do your regular morning/afternoon/or evening (depending on your going out schedule) face regimen and then place some of this Fantabulous E.L.F. I saw a lot of recommendations for the e.l.f. Poreless Putty Primer from Tiktokers. I have large pores, textured skin, acne scarring, uneven tone, combination super oily but also gets dry/flakey with retinol use, acne prone, and sensitive. This is my honest review of this product with my skintype. The price is very fair considering how much product you get. It applies thick but goes on smoothly, feels a bit thick on my face, has a bit of an oily residue after but sits well on my skin, is unscented, applies lightly pink but blends without changing skin color, doesn't make my sensitive acne prone skin react. Like most primers, this doesn't really do much for hiding my pores with or without makeup. I don't really notice any difference whatsoever. I still use it because my makeup applies evenly on top of it, but with skin as oily as mine, it doesn't hold up all day anyway whether I use this or not. It doesn't dry completely so it does have a kind of greasy feel that is heavy on my skin, but it looks matte which is nice. Overall, it's not a bad primer (considering that I have yet to find a primer that actually hides my pores well or at all). I likely won't buy it again, but if you have mostly smooth skin to begin with, I would think this might be a decent primer. I'm giving it 4 stars because it isn't all that bad, it just didn't work for my significant texture issues. Hope this helps! ... show more

I would say this is my favorite go-to primer. I use it even on days I don't wear foundation because it makes my skin look a lot smoother. I have not purchased another primer since trying this one.

If you are looking for a great primer, try this one. You will not be disappointed. A little gives a long way. I recommend purchasing the brush that Elf has. Makes it so much easier to use.

this primer is a GAME changer if you want to get rid of your pores and have your skin looking like a instagram filter. I love this product so much it smooths my face out giving a perfect base for foundation and makeup. This product paired with the grip powder will change your runtime.

After washing and using toner which needs to dry, then I put on a nice layer of putty primer. Let it dry throughly! Then apply make up. Love the results
