I've always been hesitant to buy tower fans because I'm one who needs white noise to sleep and didn't think they would provide the same amount of air flow that a cheaper box fan/floor fan provide. Frankly, I didn't think they would be worth the extra money. However, after many reviews of floors fans not being loud enough I tried 2 PELONIS floor fans and 1 Pelonis box fan. All were awful. All were very loud and powerful but they each had this rotary grinding/humming noise and even on level 1, I was way too distracted to sleep. I exchanged for another thinking it was a defect. Nope. Returned that and tried a Pelonis box fan. Level 1 was so incredibly loud that it was too distracting to watch TV, let alone hear myself think. So... I gave in and purchased this one. I WON'T be going back. Easy assembly, turned it on and immediately knew this was the one. I'm keeping this one downstairs and am buying another for the bedroom. Level 1 is quiet, yet cool enough to watch TV and have a conversation w my fiancée (can't even hear it but you can definitely feel the air. Levels 3 and 4 are perfect white noise and will help me sleep like a baby when the next purchase arrives and goes upstairs. The remote has a lot nice features and the signal is strong. I noticed on other fans with their remotes, you would have to point in a specific direction in order for it to respond. So far I haven't had that issue w this one. Oh and they provide you a battery in the remote w the purchase. Pelonis did not provide batteries which I thought was strange because it's usually typical for batteries to be supplied now a days. When replacing the battery, there is a button at the bottom of the remote that when pressed, the cover pops off and battery installation will be easy when the time comes. Honestly, I hate writing reviews but after my search of finding the perfect fan that provides features and comfort, I thought I would share. ... show more

No dislikes at all!, 2 pieces boring of stand you put together, click into place, put cord thru and slide/ lock into bottom and boom?! Done, turned on and nice and really cold. Sleek design and works, no screws and extra parts, simple. Power speeds; are 4, very stable on carpet, or wood and perfect fits in any corner, you won’t be disappointed. This fan has a great setup. There is very little assemble required out of the box. My 3 dogs and fiancé all sleep in the same bedroom in south Texas without a ceiling fan. So it gets hot QUICK. Our HOA does not allow window AC units. We had a box fan, but it was not doing much. I can say I feel a noticeable difference with this fan. I am not waking up in the middle of the night in a sweat. The remote allows us to control the fan from the bed, so we don't have to get up! It is also very quite so we do not hear much white noise from the fan. ... show more

This fan is verry convient Ii like the power and if I get too cold I can just turn the speed down it has 4 power settings that make sleeping great. I've knocked it down meny times and it works as good as the day I got it. I wish there was an adjustable speed at witch it turns or a way too controll the direction it turns but other than that this fan is nice. It comes with a controller so you don't have too move too change the settings. Everything feels durable and nothing sounds loose or swueeks. I have no complaints at night it keeps me cool. I’ve bought three (3) of these now… 2 for bedrooms and one for the living room. Whisper quiet up to level 3 (4 is max). I could easily fall asleep at level 4 quietness but level 3 moves a lot of air so it hasn’t been needed. Remote is a nice feature and it’s got a pretty good sweeping range. You get a 30 month warranty when you register with Dreo. Hopefully it’s not needed but we run fans 24/7 so they’ll be put to the test. Good buy. ... show more

I have been searching hi and low for a fan that is quiet. I’m ok with a little noise but the little noise bothers my husband. ALL the “quiet” fans are super noisy on low. After searching Amazon and reading reviews, I opted for this one. I was actually expecting to return it…however… on the “low” setting, it really is the quietest one that I have EVER found! Jackpot! Finally one that actually is as described AND cheaper than any of the others I have purchased in the past. Now there is more “sound” if you turn up the settings, but I use the lowest in the bedroom at night and it’s perfect! I have another on the way!
