Radio is ok for the price, but unlike advertised with a mercedes steering wheel picture, this radio does not work with Mercedes steering wheels. My installer told me that the reason is that the conector is not sending any digital data but rather a resitance based signal, making it 100% not compatible without the purchase of a separate adaptator to convert the resistance based signal to a digital signal... picture in the product description showing a mercedes steering wheel is missleading. Can seller confirm and please direct me to the an interface device that could do this job ? UPDATE : Seller is very reactive, got response in a few hours and they suggested a device to do the job. They also refunded the value of the device from the purchase. Recommended Seller. This is just too bad that this radio is not natively compatible with Mercedes, but for the price all the rest is working perfect. ... show more

Everything works as advertised. The sound is as good as possible with the existing speakers in my van. There are so many things that are annoying about this thing. Most could probably be fixed with a firmware update if you could find it. Here's my list: *The volume for the radio is about 50dB higher than it is when connected to your phone. It's what comes on when you start the car, so if you didn't turn it down last time you turned off the car you'll be blasted until your phone connects. *There's no way to have it start on something other than radio (at ridiculous volume) like having it default to aux instead so you don't have to listen to random radio before your phone connects. *The volume doesn't have a dial and the buttons are not always lit up so you have to guess where they are. *The steering wheel controls don't work. *The auxiliary port will play sound, but always says there's nothing connected to it. *The microphone is terrible. You have to yell into it for it to hear. *It has options in settings to customize the start up logo and background, but no way up load your own images. *The audio adjustment settings leave a lot to be desired, and use weird terminology. *Many settings will stay on regardless of whether they are enabled. *The clock doesn't stay set. It just chooses some random time/date. *The manual has very little information on features, and no links to a website or anything for more. I'm definitely getting something else.
