I have a 9 pound Jack Russell terrier. Most collars I have found in his size are 1/2” or 3/8” wide, which look dainty on him, like he’s going to break them off with one flex of his neck. I really like the band thickness on this one, I believe it’s 5/8 inch. The buckle is bigger than I expected, but for my situation, I like it. It feels much more durable than other collars that I’ve tried. That being said there’s no way I would want this collar for a smaller, daintier dog. Got this for our 7week old puppy, was a tad big and had to wait about a week or so but once it fit at around 9 weeks it’s been so great! We sure got the crazy one out of the litter and it’s held up still like it’s brand new. He is about to be 16 weeks now and still fits and will probably fit for many more months (he’s a pitbull) and they have fat heads and necks lol we do use a harness most of the time since collars are bad for dogs necks (if they pull a lot) but he’s been growing out of harnesses every 2 weeks 🤦🏻♀️ so this collar comes in handy when those breaks come off trying to find a new harness 😂 ... show more

I had purchased a different collar and the buckle seemed uncomfortable and bulky so I returned it and bought this one . Much better it seams like it’s comfortable with rounded edges and the pink color is so cute . Recommend it for sure 😉
