    • This leash saved my dog’s life the first week we got it.

After adding the AirTag to our dog’s new collar five days ago, we put it on her and jumped into the car for a vacation in CO. Unfortunately that night in our rental property the smoke alarm started chirping at 4 am like the battery was dead. And kept chirping ever 5 seconds. We couldn’t just change the battery ourselves because the people that installed the alarm put it on a wall 16 feet up from stairs that a normal V shaped latter would not fit. (when they got at our rental owner’s manager actually had to buy a new ladder to get to the thing.) They finally got there at 5:30 when dusk was settling in. Unfortunately they left the door open and our dog ventured out. She has never run away in her entire life so we were in utter shock to discover her gone. She’s spunky but she’s 16 years old and is mostly deaf and definitely not as sharp as she was as a puppy. Our rental is in the Rocky Mountain forest and the rentals around us and the area is practically deserted area (off-season) and darkness had grown black. After my initial panic I pulled out my phone. Service is intermittent in the mountains and we couldn’t pinpoint in the dark from her collar but we could get pretty close It took 90 minutes and a call to a police to ask if someone with a flashlight could help. The friendly policeman with his flashlight found in him 10 minutes. We had been close to our dog before but she hadn’t answered our calls. When we found her, she was so traumatized she acted like she barely knew us. She was dirty and unharmed on someone’s empty house deck that was fenced to give her some protection. She had been smart enough to find about as safe a place as she could in the forest. There is no doubt in my mind that she wouldn’t have survived the night with bears roaming the forests. I might add that this was first time I had ever used AirTags and was successful even my unfamiliarity and being 66 years old! What possessed me to replace her perfectly fine collar that she’d worn for 8 years last week, I’ll never know. But thank goodness I did. If you’re hesitating on buying…don’t. ... show more

So beautiful! Held the Air Tag great! But when I left the collar on the table after my dog's bath, she quickly bit through the plastic and destroyed the Air Tag, rendering the entire collar useless.

This collar fits my 5lb chihuahua well. He seems comfortable with it on. When I take it off after he’s been wearing it for a while, my dog isn’t overly relieved to have it removed. Similarly, when I put it on he doesn’t fuss or seem to dislike it. He has napped with the collar on and doesn’t seem bothered by it. The AirTag popped into place and seems pretty secure. This collar is durable with normal wear. I would not recommend attaching it to a leash, especially if your dog pulls. I use a harness when walking my dog. This collar is just used to ensure my dog has his dog tags and AirTag while outside. ... show more

I have now purchased 4 of the Dogwong collars. They are pretty darn sturdy and there are many different colors and patterns to choose from. Not to mention they are relatively inexpensive. They do get dirty because they are a cloth collar. I throw them in the wash with the appropriate colors and hang them up to dry. They wash beautifully and wear well. Love the plaid and fall color. Clasp is decent, fabric is far too flimsy for a collar. Maybe as good as one could expect for the price. Has stayed on well and given my dogs some fall style. Overall, not bad for an inexpensive option!

We love this collar for our goldendoodle. The AirTag fits snuggly and hasn’t popped out at all, even when playing rough with my parents dog. They tend to grab each others collars when they play, and this collar doesn’t show any signs of that. We have had it for 2 and a half months now, and it still looks pretty new. If you have an escape artist dog like mine, you know that it can be so scary when they get out! Having the AirTag secured to her collar makes me feel so much more comfortable knowing that if she were to get out, I would be able to track her without a problem.
