I have been using these collars for a year now. I like them; they haven’t had any problems. My dogs are rough sometimes when they play, and they have gotten the collars wet outside, and they still work fine. I like how the controls are easier than others I’ve used. I like the light on the collars and the beep that lets you know easily if the collar is on or off (one beep for on, two for off). My dog (only used the shock function on one dog) definitely doesn't like the shocks but he has only required it a couple of times. He responds really well to the beeps – I hardly ever even have to use the vibration. As a matter of fact, when he hears me grabbing the bag (a small blue cell phone pouch from Amazon) that I keep the remote in (so I won’t lose it [there’s no pants clip on the remote]), he automatically does what he’s supposed to be doing.😁 (I have a clicker clipped on to the bag so when I grab the bag, the clicker makes a jingly noise against the metal clip.) He also recognizes that shade of blue in my hand, lol. The only thing I don’t like is that they only come with one charger so you can’t charge both collars at once. It is a split charger where you can charge the remote control (usb-c) and one collar (another type of charger that I don’t have a million of like other charger types, so I can only charge one collar at a time. Which is fine if you have plenty of time, and can remember to switch them out and charge the second one. If you are using this for one dog, then it is no problem at all—just charge one while you use the other. But I have 2 dogs (and not very much time nor a good memory). That said, they really are great collars for the price (especially now that they are $10 cheaper than when I bought them a year ago 😋). I might just buy a new set so I’ll have 2 chargers and backup collars. ... show more

This was prefect for my pet. I love that is has 3 levels, I have only had to shock my dog once. Since then I only press the noise button and she comes running to me. The battery life of the collar is great I only have to charge it at night every two weeks, the remote last longer. I just charge it when I charge the collar to make sure everything is good to go. Charged both units for about 3 hours each on day 1 (not thrilled that you can only charge 1 unit along with control device at a time- so took about 8 hours to fully prepare to use). Then set up the lowest levels for the vibrate and shock and attached the collars. The next morning put them on my dachsunds. Our dogs have started digging holes and we quickly discovered the vibrate mode set on 1 or 2 was all we needed for them to stop digging and run to us. They worked well for the whole day. Day 3 one of the collars was blinking green then red. Took it off and charged it. Turned green with 20 minutes. Put it back on the dog flashing both colors again. Back on charger for a couple hours, same thing. After charging again with same result I just let it flash and kept using it. It never died but after dark my dog was flashing…. At least I could see where she went. Day 4….. pressed vibrate when dog B started digging and both dogs jumped. Looked at controller expecting to see I had the setting for both dogs but it was on B only. Took off collars and tested the collars to the settings, discovered they both vibrated or beeped no matter which channel it was set on. So unless both dogs are doing something they shouldn’t they aren’t very effective training them. Even my dogs would be mad I was being unfair for punishing them both for what the other did. Moral of the story…. Don’t waste you time getting these. They’re cheap for a reason. :( ... show more
