I have a ShiTzu (smallish) dog and give this bark collar five stars for two reasons: First, the collar has three types of reminders for the dog: beep, vibrate and shock. You can set the power level and combinations that work for your dog. For our dog, the beep was completely adequate to remind our dog not to bark. We tried also the vibrate mode, but found it not necessary. Never needed to try the shock mode. Really like the functionality of the bark collar. Second, I had a minor technical difficulty with the bark collar (not applicable to other users), I dropped DinJoo an email asking about it, they instantly replied and went as far as to send me a complete new replacement unit. Update: the company refunded me for all the broken ones. We will continue to use this brand. It’s great. As a dog trainer I recommend this one to all my clients. *Bought in April, stopped working by June. The company was generous to refund my broken one, and then ANOTHER one broke today. In both cases the screen stopped functioning. I do use them often, but this is not normal. Hoping the company makes things right again. My review will be updated if/when they do. ... show more

My dog either gets to know you and love you, or he'll bark non-stop at you all. The. Time. I've never wanted to use negative reinforcement on my pooch. However, a recent change in living accommodations, has me living with my gf and her 15yo daughter. My doggo gets along fine w/the gf, but no matter how good the daughter is to him, he just won't stop with the barking. As we are now full-time in the house, I finally pulled the trigger on a bark collar. Ended up getting this one. It works. Fairly simple and straight forward to use. Now, just putting it on him, is enough to get him to stop. I like the settings, so you can dial down the zap level, and even turn that off while still having an audible signal. Charging is simple, via a USB cable. The display screen is clear and readable, just familiarize yourself with the settings and it will be easily understandable. We have two large dogs and they rile each other up outside. They bark at other dogs through the fence. This has helped tone down the barking from a 10 (tons of barking) to a 1 or 2 (light to none). We have not had any issues with charging or keeping a charge. We use these collars daily.

    • Collar stops working after first two charges - two replacements with the same defect.

Collar will charge twice then dies and will not charge again. This is the second collar that has the same issue. The manufacturers solution to the faulty charge, is simply to replace the whole collar. This must be a known issue. I will not be ordering another replacement, since it's apparent that the issue is across all of the devices. It's a shame since when it works, it works well for the purpose. ... show more

I absolutely love this collar!! I wish I had found it at least a year plus ago. It would have saved us a lot of money on professional trainers to deal and try to solve the main problem with our 33-months-old German Shepherd - barking at everything and anything that moves!! Our furbaby girl, LUNA, has been wearing this collar for almost three weeks now and the difference is jaw dropping! She has stopped barking almost 100% and when she does bark -at our neighbors dogs- she gives one bark, the collar beeps and vibrates and she goes mute! This collar is a game changer!! Oh, and LUNA likes it too. Every time we take it off (whether is for the night or to recharge it), she sniffs it, nozzles us, and doesn’t stop until we put it back on. The positive change is so evident that our neighbors are ordering a collar for one of her dogs who is always barking a for hours at a time. The collar is well made, looks great, and functions as described and has exceeded our expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend this collar to anyone whose pup(s) has barking issues. In the photo, yesterday afternoon, I was able to sit out back with LUNA, while another one of our other neighbors sat a few feet away with her little dog. We actually have 2 of them. Our dogs learned quickly not to bark. A chihuahua and a pom. No false set offs and easy to choose between vibrate, tone and zap. Collar on the Pom works with long hair and can hardly been seen. Absolutely a game changer. Charge lasts days!

This product was amazing til it wasn’t. When I first bought it in December I used it quite often and it was perfect. It didn’t go off on just any noise like previous collars I’ve tried. Though fast forward to the end of February the product will not charge at all. At first I thought the charging box was bad or the outlets were bad but every thing else worked fine. Therefore it’s either the charging cable or the collar itself. So beware of that risk when purchasing. ... show more
