These work just as well as the branded ones but cost a fraction of the price. They are very sharp right out of the box. They do lose their edge fairy quickly after use, but so do the branded ones as well. Being so cheap, its easy to just replace one for a few cents.

I bought an X-Acto knife years ago and the few blades it came with finally got dull after several years of use. Replacement blades in the local stores were not cheap, so I thought I'd try a generic from Amazon. These blades seem just as good as the originals. At twenty cents a blade, I just blindly replace them every two or three months to make sure they are always sharp and I'm still working through the original box of twenty several years later.
