    • To Fluff or not to Fluff

Am I glad I got this? Yes. All in all. The "Rotate the pole and let the microfiber be fluffy" -- well, it didn't fluff up completely from the get-go, and didn't fluff up completely after wash. However, there is no shedding, and don't let the bits of fibers getting tangled together stop you from getting this. It does the job. The pole is very sturdy, and IMO, most likely will never bend or break. You'll need more than one of this type of duster to make cleaning efficient, and also sanitary. I can do the base of the porcelain toilets without bending over. But I obviously can't use it on the rest of the house without washing it first. Extendable, so it's long enough to reach the baseboards without bending over, including behind furniture (the force of squeezing it into the space behind some pieces of furniture causes the wand to collapse). I'm finding that it is longer than I need for most tasks, so I am wielding more pole weight around than I need to. So, a shorter extendable would be better for most things. This 8'-4" one piece duster is for hard to reach areas, high or low -- to eliminate the need for a step stool or ladder. I swipe to dust underneath furniture too, so I can't avoid bending over altogether. One hangup was on textured walls, the duster was scraping along as I was doing the baseboards, casings, etc. Another was dusting shelves, as this is too bulky if you have knick-knacks and items that you don't want to fall on the floor. Oh, and if you have velcro wraps on your cords and wires, this duster will find them, it's a pain pulling them off. ... show more

I have 12 foot ceilings in my home, so it’s difficult to clean the tops of the walls and corners of the ceiling where dust and cobwebs collect. This quickly swept away and absorbed everything in seconds and was easy to clean. I put it in the washing machine on delicate cycle, and shook it out when it was finished. No dryer required. I have really tall ceilings (about 20ft) and this was able to reach the ceiling no problem when i was on my balcony which is about 10 feet away from the ceilings. Definitely a great product that is reusable. I hate throwing away a swifter after using it twice so it’s really nice to have this duster than can hold a lot in one go and then I just bang it outside on my driveway, soak it in a mop bucket and let it dry. My only complaint is the actual fiber part cannot be separated from the metal rod inside of it. So it can be a little tricky to just throw in a washing and drying machine. ... show more

No ladder needed with this! Softly remove cobwebs from high ceilings. Bend the tip down to avoid scratches on walls/ceilings. The telescoping handle is like an antenna. It’s sturdy and stable enough for dusting purposes. Great product!

    • Long reach, good at trapping dust

This has a very long reach, I can reach the tallest point of our vaulted ceilings. The main con is that it's not as easy to clean as I'd hoped. The other con is that it doesn't seem as sturdy in the furthest extension, but that's to be expected a bit. It does get the job done though.
