  • Gravity Defying Stand
Style: 2 Bike Rack
This stand doesn't seem like it should work, but it does and it's amazing! Putting the stand together took just a couple minutes. It literally just leans against my wall and takes up very little space on the ground. It's been so nice being able to get my bike up and out of the way--also I think it looks cool. Everyone is always surprised when they first see it and they have to go touch it to believe it's so sturdy. The way it's made the bike actually is pulled towards the wall, so there is absolutely no chance of the stand tipping over. Besides being immensely practical I honestly just think this is a cool, well designed product and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to free up some space and store their bikes. ... show more

  • Don't Waste Your Time With This Rack
Style: 2 Bike Rack
I had such high hopes for this bike rack. All of the reviews indicate that while flimsy looking, the stand will defy doubts and work perfectly. WRONG. I have a small hybrid specialized bike, nothing fancy. My boyfriend has a medium mountain specialized bike. Small and Medium sized bikes seem like reasonable expectations that this bike will hold, but we could not get it to hold the bikes in place. It seems like the older reviews are from before they changed materials? The rack I received did not have red details like I see in other photos. The grey grip that should hold everything in place does nothing. When we place a bike on the rack, the arms that are on the frame start to slide so that both arms are on one side, then the bike completely slides over and one tire sadly rests on the floor. Trying to add a second bike on top is an even bigger catastrophe as that bike does the exact same thing and it rests a tire on the bottom bike, looks hideous, and I might as well have leaned the bikes on the wall. I tried spacing the arms further apart, swapped the bike places, but with the arms slipping and sliding wherever they please, it just wasn't working. Such a hassle and waste of time to return it. I'm disappointed since I was looking forward to not having to mount something to store the bikes indoors. The search continues. ... show more

  • Perfect bike storage solution for a small apartment
Style: 2 Bike Rack
I use this stand to vertically store my extra small women's hybrid bicycle flat against the wall. I've been using it for a few days now and couldn't be happier. I share a 500 square foot apartment and this stand takes up virtually none of the limited floor space. Surprisingly sturdy AND cool looking! Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Great for Small Apartments
Style: 2 Bike Rack
This bike rack is incredible and here's why: 1) It leans against the wall and requires no bolts or screws to hold in place (although it comes with anchoring hardware). 2) It's designed so it leans against the wall and the more weight you put on it, the more secure it is against the wall. This is a very sturdy bike rack. 3) Not sure where it's made, but it's very solid. The paint is thick, the arms are robust, and the rubber protectors are thick too. Once the screws (they seem like stainless steel) holding it together are fastened, it feels very secure. 4) It's nice to get the bicycles off the ground. I have 2 bikes on this rack and the tires on the bottom one are about 6-8 inches off the ground. That doesn't seem like much but having the tires elevated makes cleaning under the bikes very easy and convenient. 5) The price is great. 6) Setup is very simple and quick. ... show more

  • Prefect for any room!
Style: 2 Bike Rack
I have a small bedroom and that was the only wall space I could find in my apartment to put this. It's great! I attached pictures, it's such a space saver (for size reference, my bed is a full--that's how small my bedroom is). And for the price, you cannot beat it. I would recommend attaching it to the wall, and use a wall anchor if you have sheetrock. I was putting one bike on the top and it kind of got hung up and started to come forward. I'm kind of clumsy, so I figured attaching it to the wall was just best for me anyways. It was easy to put together and everything feels solid. I highly recommend this thing :-) ... show more

  • Gets the job done, but flawed
Style: 2 Bike Rack
I feel pretty lukewarm about this stand. It does the job, but has some design flaws and seems a little cheaply made. I'm not sorry I bought it, but I probably wouldn't buy another one. That said, it's relatively cheap compared to other bike stands and, again, it does get the job done. One of the screws it came with was impossible to install. The holes in the two pieces were simply not aligned properly. I tried and struggled, but there was no way to get the angle right to screw it in. So I have it set up with a missing screw, which should be fine, I guess, since gravity keeps the top piece on by itself. Anyway, it has not collapsed in 2 months of use, so...great? Another problem is that the feet are not very grippy. I have it on a hardwood floor, and I've noticed that it slowly slides forward over time. Twice now I've had to pull down my bikes, adjust the rack, and replace them, because it had slipped too far for comfort. I might need to rig up some grippier rubber shoes for it. Perhaps this problem could be avoided if I'd secured the top part to the wall with a screw (the rack comes with a top strap for this purpose, but I skipped that optional step. The good news is, it holds my bikes well. Once I arranged and angled the handles properly, they stayed put completely. The first day was a little rough, and I found my bikes swinging one way or another; it's a little trial and error to get the handle positioning just right. The relative heights of the handles will depend on your bike's geometry and weight distribution. Try to angle them as far out as possible while maintaining balance. I wish there was an extra piece to keep the front wheels in place, because they can wind up turning and scuffing up the wall. I've rigged up one of the utility hooks to sit between the top front wheel and the wall to prevent this, but it's a little awkward. The utility hooks were not made for this purpose and are a bit too short, but it gets the job done with a bag hanging off it. Overall, it's a decent product. Nothing fancy, but it works and it's relatively cheap. ... show more
