So I ordered the large like new used decal . They look great and make a great addition to my living room wall . They are very easy to peel off and stick and there are instructions on one of the sheets . I would suggest printing out a sample world map and start sticking as it is much easier . Now you can definitely remove and restick if you mess up but they don’t last on the wall longer . As it is I find some portions sticking up from the surface so I’m not sure how long this will last . Besides that this map decal is lovely and I’m happy I got the large as anything lesser would not have had a impact Review update : The stickers are not holding up . In less than 24 hrs they are bumping off the wall . I saw a few on the floor when I woke up . So returning them . Sad they look so beautiful but did my hold up for even a few hours ... show more

I'm very impressed with this! The price is great for the high quality decals. I put it up yesterday and it took me about 45 minutes by myself (I'm a perfectionist so took awhile to get it just right). There aren't a lot of instructions for the best strategy of putting it up, but what worked for me is to start with Africa (place in the middle of where you want the map to be), then attach Asia (by connecting Africa & Middle East area), then attach Europe, then the Philippines, Australia, etc. Then do Iceland, Greenland, the U,S,A,, and finally South America. You kind of have to guess how far apart to put many of the stickers, so that's the biggest challenge. The nice thing is, the stickers are re-stickable and I did peel a couple off to re-position, and it was just as sticky. I LOVE how this looks in my kids' playroom/school room. I was worried it would be too small, but it's the perfect size for us! ... show more

Right up until I finished this, this was a 5-star product. For most of you who may read this, please consider this review 5-stars. My 3 star review is due to one major inconsistency for me; the images don't line up with the final map. It's got the *text* for Jamaica, but not the actual island.... Like seriously, an island part of the Greater Antilles, where they can print all these other smaller islands, they could not print Jamaica, though it's shown nice and gray and filled in in a lot of the sample images. I am Jamaican, and after spending about 2 hours putting up all these pieces (I started with Africa to try and get it all lined up), when I finally finished with NA, only to realize somehow Jamaica's the only place that didn't warrant a fill in? Severely annoyed and let down, frustrated this is not like the pic. The product itself is good, if I had just one more issue, I'd be ... down. So if you don't care about that error, sure, call this 5-stars... but for me? I'm sad, hurt and annoyed it's not wholly as described. ... show more

This product is absolutely perfect for my children's "Get Out and Explore" themed play room. The decals were super easy to put up and they were super forgiven. I was able to move the pieces around to the desired position (although I'm sure that my distances are still not to scale lol). The unit came on three separate sheets that were labeled with letters, additionally, a (very) small decal of the world was provided in order to assist with placement. Some reviewers were concerned about the size of the item, however, I feel that it is a perfect size for the space where I put it...it's not overly large and it's not extremely small. Additionally, I do like the fact that the continents/countries/oceans are labeled as we have traveled to many parts of the world as a family and it provides perspective to our children. This wasn't very difficult to put together and I love it. I have it up on my wall as a decoration with my pictures surrounding it and have pins to where I have been. I wish there was a bigger size to this and I would order it for my future house. I also always get complimented on my map and really love seeing it every day. The only day I give it four stars is because even though it isn't very difficult to put together it should be known that the names and parts come separate so you do need effort and time to put together, but it is worth it. ... show more

Had to add glue around edges and spacing was a guesstimate- also has enough of a sheen to look like a decal on the wall, would have preferred it to be more matte. That being said, it was a nice addition to my little half bath and for the price I would buy it again!

This map looks great on the wall and it was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be to put up. The sticky back is fairly forgiving for repositioning. When I first got the set, I thought it was going to be a lot harder with all the pieces, but it really only took about 15 minutes or so, with 2 people, and I suppose the more precise you want to be, the longer it will take. But the good tips are to start with Africa as the center piece, look for connecting landmasses and make sure the words are horizontal when you are placing the pieces. ... show more
