These probiotics have transformed my digestion, speeding up my stomach emptying, controlling reflux, reducing gas, preventing constipation, and reducing my need for Rx medication. It’s made a huge difference in my quality of life. And these are the first probiotics I’ve found that are stable when loaded into daily pill packs. They do not shrivel up when exposed to [cool] room temperatures. As the bottle explains, it may take a few days to get used to taking these, causing a little rumbling in the interim, but that’s very brief. And the benefit it so worth it. I’ll never be without them again. Also note that Schwartz volunteers to have all their products tested by an independent laboratory to assure customers they are getting exactly what the label says their products contain. Since the FDA provides no regulation of the supplements industry, meaning many people don’t actually get the supplements they pay for, the guarantee that an independent laboratory certifies their products is why I buy my probiotics from Schwartz. I highly recommend these. I have no trouble swallowing them and they have no discernible taste.     • Digestive Issues Can Cripple Your Quality of Life

So far, I have seen small improvements with my digestion. It is still too early to tell. I am recovering from taking antibiotics and acid-blockers, which completely wrecks your digestive system. At my age, 32, it is a lot more difficult to make a full recovery, if a recovery at all. It is debilitating. I was told by the doctor that I may have GERD and IBS. He said it could just be H Pylori. I will be going in for a lab test in a week. Either way, I am using a holistic approach to self-heal through extensive research online. The information I have gathered is vast and stretches knowledge I have come across in some instances, but not nearly as profound as it is now since I have been suffering from digestive issues. I hope that Schwartz will continue to be one of the Bioresearch companies that intends to do good by the people, for the people. The food industry was and still is controlled by political interests, pharmaceutical companies, and our foods have destroyed our health. We need to fight back by voting with our wallets. Ever since my digestive health has declined drastically, it has opened my eyes to nutritional health. The conditions, diseases, illnesses, and digestive ailments out there are crippling and debilitating. As if age doesn't hinder us enough, we in many cases need to purchase food at grocery stores that are harmful to our health, thereby affecting our quality of life, negatively. With a wide selection of probiotics out on the market, even prebiotics with probiotics, I cannot say that this will be for you. It is something you need to try. I don't think taking of your health, holistically (functional medicine approach), is more expensive than running to your doctor, only to be told, "We do not know what it is. We need to run tests." Tests after tests, you're left a shell of yourself. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying that modern medicinal cannot help cure some of our medical issues. Sometimes, you need a combination of modern medicine with functional medicine. In my case, I will give the natural way a try, because the antibiotics I took did not cure nor improve my condition. If you are suffering from digestive health issues, research into these other products: 1. Manuka Honey (can kill good and bad bacteria - there is research for this so please read about it) 2. L-Glutamine (may affect H. Pylori by inhibiting them) 3. Prescript Assist (usually taken along side antibiotic and acid-blocker prescriptions) or post prescription healing. 4. Zenwise Prebiotics + Probiotics with Digestive Enzymes 5. Monolaurin (may kill H. Pylori in your stomach) - remember that H. Pylori are like stealthed assassins on the lining of your stomach 6. Fulvic Acid (Mimi's Miracle Minerals) - for some people, it has cured their GERD 7. Lugol's 5% Iodine (can kill H. Pylori) 8. Omega 3 fatty acids (also look into Omega 3-6-9) - helps with inflammation in your GUT! 9. Slippery Elm 10. Mastic Gum I am taking most of these on the list. There is no one size fits all or a quick fix. Improving your digestive takes time, just like it took time to damage it with a poor diet, stress and anxiety, and other causes. Look up the 7 Key Principles of Body Ecology. Read them. Know them. Live them. I do not promote any company. As you are reading this, you probably think I am. Isn't it funny? I've ordered these pills several times now. They aren't overly large so they are easily swallowed. But the main thing I like about this product is that it is both prebiotic and probiotic. I don't care for most food sources that are prebiotic so this is great to take.

For many years(maybe my whole life?), certain vegetables(cruciferous, bell peppers, dark greens) and beans(all) have given me terrible gas and indigestion. I've taken other much more expensive probiotics for other reasons, to offset antibiotic use, etc, and while they may have had impact on some level, I never actually felt a change in my body. I happened upon this brand while searching for some other supplements; I bought a bottle for me and one for my husband. For one month,I took one capsule every morning before breakfast, and another before going to sleep. The impact has been profound. It took about three weeks, but I suddenly realized; I ate two black bean tacos with shredded cabbage at a function, fully expecting to feel miserable in a few hours. Nope. Not a single toot or cramp. I thought it was a fluke, so I decided to test it out further- I have eaten kidney beans(my worst offender), cabbage, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, black beans, northern beans, refried beans, ALLL the beans- and I am digesting them perfectly. Collard greens, chard, kale---no problem. I can't remember when my stomach has felt so balanced and *normal*. There's nothing else I can attribute that to except these probiotic capsules. I used up the bottle I bought for my husband, and have subscribe purchased. Some other effects that may or may not be attributable: -in 12 weeks of taking these twice a day, my monthly cystic acne outbreak has disappeared. -I usually get 1-2 migraines a month around that time as well- so far I haven't had those either. -my general mood has felt more balanced and even(probably because my stomach isn't hurting any more); you don't realize all the things you avoid due to stomach issues until they aren't bothering you any more.
