I was initially looking at other indoor pizza ovens but couldn't find myself paying a grand. So when I saw this one, I had to try it. Like other reviews mention, it can get smokey. But this happens when you have flour on the peel that falls onto the hot stone. Because it's nearly 700 degrees, the flour burns pretty quickly. The only way I was able to avoid it is by making sure to dust off any excess flour before sliding the pizza in. Also, in between pizzas, I cleaned off any burnt flour on the stone using a spatula wrapped in a wet towel. As soon as I did this, the smoking stopped. ... show more

    • Too much smoke in the house
No matter what you do it still smokes up the house. When you cook multiple pizzas the drippings get on the stone, the smoke is nuts!! This will definitely go outside in the back for summer!! More trouble than it’s worth, if u could I would return it.

    • Heats up the whole room
Instead of properly insulating the oven, they just put cooling fans on the back. It has to heat constantly and blows all the heat out the back. Really inefficient and heats the whole room up worse than running the actual oven.

    • Never worked correctly but wasn't able to return
Bought as christmas gift for my daughter - she did not use it till month after christmas - on first use it would not get hot enough for the light to turn on and the pizza never cooked through - went to return but it was a week after the window closed so we are stuck with a broken $400 pizza oven that never worked right. Very disappointed -would not recommend anyone buy this oven especially at christmas when people dont use their gift right away and then when they do you can't return it! ... show more
