  • I like these as an adult, and they work well for the kids too.
I really like these colored pencils. I've continued to buy more to replace our home colored pencils and the kid's school supply pencils. They write well. They don't break easily. They have a lot of lead. I think they color as well/easily as a traditional Crayola colored pencil. I do NOT like the twistible crayons. Those don't write as easily or as well as regular crayons. The colored pencils are great though. ... show more

  • Versatile
These colored pencils are very versatile and come in many colors. The only thing I will say is that the the writing comes out light, not dark. If you don't mind that this is worth the buy. I used some for work and gave the rest to my friend's daughter for coloring. Would recommend.

  • Good quality
The media could not be loaded. My 2 year old has no problem gripping the pencil. I like that I can twist it close. I don’t have to worry about him making a mess if they are closed since he doesn’t know how to twist it. It’s not super pigmented on paper but most crayons aren’t so I’m okay with that. Over all, I have had them for a while and he really enjoys them. ... show more

  • Crayola Twistable Colored Pencils
We love using these! They don’t need to be sharpened which is great! No need to worry about toddlers stabbing themselves with a sharp pencil when coloring. They last quite a while and this big pack comes with fifty different colors so plenty of variety for all your coloring needs! These are the only colored pencils we buy now. ... show more

  • Waxy & don't blend very well, but great for coloring tiny spaces & I enjoy using them
I enjoy coloring and in the past have purchased a few sets of Twistables for myself and gifts. They don't need sharpened, & are great to color tiny spaces. Several years ago, there weren't a lot of color choices. When I saw this set of 50, I put it in my cart, waited for the price to come down & finally purchased a couple sets late in Dec. 2021 - one for myself & one for my granddaughter. It must've been a great deal or the price has gone up substantially since then, but then again, what hasn't gone up in price. Both our sets have been working as they should. We've had no problems. Twistables are waxy, don't blend very well, & some colors aren't as vibrant as I'd like, but, all in all, I enjoy coloring with them. I really like that I can color tiny spaces with them. When my 5 yr. old granddaughter uses them, we watch her closely so she won't twist too much color/lead out which would cause it to break off. We put them up so she has to ask to use them. Otherwise, I think she'd have all the color/lead either twisted out or broken. A couple things that I don't like: --These have no color names or numbers on them, and the color of the pencil doesn't usually match the actual color. After a while I got tired of that inconvenience and started numbering the top of the pencil with a permanent marker then I made a swatch sheet with the corresponding numbers. --The box is so flimsy! Oh my gosh, there's no way I can keep the pencils straight. Some will fall down and lay across the bottom of the box, others will be sideways, or sometimes they'll double up and the box will bulge. I'll eventually put them in a pouch or a pencil box. The picture I attached was done entirely in Twistables. It's from Daydreams by Hanna Karlzon. ... show more

  • Packaging wasn’t the best but the product made up
I bought these for my nieces who love to color. They are a name brand and a great price for the amount of colors. The stores don’t carry this quantity so it was nice to get extra colors. They are easy to use and save on having to sharpen a dull pencil. The box from the manufacturer was super thin and I had to tape both ends to keep them inside. I bought a pencil holder to store them in after they were opened. If your going to gift to someone make sure to tape the ends. ... show more

  • No sharpener needed!
I have been buying these for years for myself and my kids. I now work in a nursing home, and I bought them again for the residents to use with adult coloring books. Not having to sharpen them is a real game-changer. Needing to sharpen pencils would cause my residents needless frustration. Simply twisting the pencil to extend the tip is ingenious. There are imitators but I believe Crayola was the first to create this kind of pencil. They last a long time, can be used for finer work than traditional crayons, never dull, and never need sharpening! Great product. And great color selection! ... show more

  • Great for homeschool
They are hard to break on the out side so this has seemed to help my son with adhd keep them for the whole school year. And if you know you know.
