(I am female, size 5ft 2” and small) This is the best flannel I’ve found on Amazon so far! I’ve bought 3 different designs! I usually fit small but I went a size up (to medium) because I like things slightly baggy. So the sleeves reach just to mid-palm for me and past my butt. I assume it’s otherwise true to size. It’s nice and thick so I can use it to work in the garden and with our animals! It is NOT very stretchy and NOT form-fitting. But that’s not important to me. Make sure to wash it in cold and hang to dry otherwise it WILL shrink.. so unless you want that to happen, follow the care instructions carefully. ... show more

This is literally the absolute best shirt I have ever owned. At this point, I own about five of these shirts - in black and wine. I purchased several Mediums. They fit perfectly. I lost weight. Bought smalls. They fit perfectly. I want one in every color. I love the texture. Its cotton flannel, soft, and tightly woven. High quality, durable shirts like this are usually made for men. This is a solid shirt that is properly fitted for women. The double pockets are unoffensive (I don't usually like pockets on shirts). The sleeves roll nicely and stay put. The collar sits correctly. They look great after several washes and will take a beating. As someone who is generally offended by the flimsiness of most women's clothing, I can avow that this a good shirt. ... show more

I’ve ordered a half dozen different brands of flannel shirts from Amazon, and the CQR is my favorite. This is my second flannel shirt by CQR and I’m happy again. Big difference is the quality of the fabric. It’s really soft and appears to be 100 percent cotton as the tag says (not always the case). The fabric is not a thick flannel, but it’s a good weight to wear unbuttoned around the house over a short sleeve t-shirt or outside on a cool fall night. We have to layer around here in winter, so it’s an easy thing to take on and off as needed. The construction is good for the price. Properly sewn seams, firm buttons, collar lays flat & no bulking at shoulder seams. Washes really well in warm and dried on low most of the time (the setting I use for most of my clothes). No significant shrinkage in my opinion. I’m 5’4”, 165 lbs and a 40C. The XL fit perfectly. Only complaint is that the cut is a little boxy, no shaping. Not a problem if you want a loose, comfortable shirt like I did. A Large would have been too tight through the chest on me. ... show more

Quality was better than expected with nicely trimmed cuffs and collar. Washed up nicely and did not require pressing. Comfortable and held ther shape which was a concern. Purchased a medium which fits loose enough to wear comfortably over another shirt - great for cold climates. If you want form fitting go true to size or smaller. ... show more
