  • Size up.
Size: XX-Large
This cozyhote Heated Vest (Battery Pack Not Included/XXL) is probably one of the most affordable heated vests you'll find, barring purchasing direct from a manufacturer or outlet. Especially at its current price, which is half of when I'd ordered it (which is sadly the amount I'll be paying income taxes on, but I'm not totally bummed since even at that higher price I'd already thought it was a pretty darned good deal). The placement of the front heating elements isn't as abundant as the product photo reflects, but the other heated areas make this super worth it! Love that I can control each of the zones separately & in easy to see levels based on the color coding of the lighted control patch. (Red is the highest temp, white is medium heat & blue is the lowest level; easy to remember.) I got a small portable charger that fits perfectly into the inner pocket to house the power source. It uses a regular USB plug & has a cover for when not in use, which is nice touch so you can protect that plug when cleaning the vest. I think some complained that it hadn't been obvious that no battery pack was included, but either that was updated or they'd just missed all the times that point was mentioned, because it was reflected in the product name, photos & description that one is not included. And when the price is pretty low, it usually means you'll most likely have to provide your own power source. This vest is well-made & even without the heating elements would've been a nice score at this current price-point. It has invisible zippered pockets & nice detailing. Though despite being called a vest "for Men", please note that the sizing is most likely Asian sizing, so their XXL is going to be more like L (more or less). So definitely size up, if you can. This is a vest, so in extreme cold, you'd still have to layer up. I just think that at such an affordable price, a vest that can keep my chest, neck, and back warm & toasty is pretty awesome. If this were triple the cost, I'd probably dock it a Star for not being heated in the hand pockets area. But at this price, being so-so in the front heating but awesome in the neck & back heating, I'm still as happy as a kitten in a snuggly blanket! ... show more

  • This thing really works! Just beware sizes run small
Size: X-Large
I've purchased other "heated" items of clothing such as socks and gloves, but they came with tiny battery packs that didn't last long, and the amount of heat they generated was minuscule to none. I saw this vest and thought it would be perfect for me, so I ordered it and tried it on right away. Unlike other types of heated clothing, this one does not include a battery pack. I'm actually very happy about that as the ones which include battery packs usually use a barrel plug and not a standard USB port which means you can only use the small battery they provide. With this vest, I can use whatever capacity battery pack I want. I can bring a tiny 5,000 mAh battery pack or a 30,000 mAh battery pack, this is great! It took a few minutes for me to figure out how to turn it on. You hold down the center of the logo that's on the vest for about 5 seconds, it then lights up and you can press the images of body parts to turn the various heating elements on, off, and adjust the heating levels independently. Unlike other heated clothes, this vest gets nice and toasty, for once a product that actually works!! The only negative thing I can say about this vest is that the sizes run small. I am an XL, every shirt, jacket, and sweatshirt I wear is an XL. Unfortunately even though this jacket is an XL, it doesn't fit me. I can only zip the jacket up half way, if I force it I can close it all the way but it's very tight and uncomfortable. My advice would be to definitely buy this vest, but go up one size level. ... show more

  • Not a great fit for me YMMV
Size: Large
I received this in a size large and the fit on it was rather strange. The chest portion was quite tight. The waist portion was quite loose. It's always difficult to shop for any clothing online as we're all shaped differently, but with an item like this, fit is critical. I didn't realize this required an external power source when I ordered it, as it wasn't very clear, but that has since been updated. You DO need an external power to run it. On to performance... The heating on high was comfortable. On the lower settings I could barely feel it, if at all. Probably due to the odd fit. These type of garments are meant to be close to the body and the primary heating elements weren't. This will vary depending on body type of course. If it fits properly it would a 4 star product at least. ... show more

  • Lightweight and comfortable to wear
Size: XX-Large
This vest surprised me with how lightweight and comfy the material is. The shell which seems water resistant is very soft. The sides have a stretchy material so the vest moves with you. It has some material inside the outer soft layer that keeps your core warm before you even turn on the heat but it is not a heavy puffy material. The heating elements have a small square zippered pocket on the inside of the vest (my picture #3) that shows how the place where you connect the USB charger is protected with a little rubber boot so you can wash it without issue. The charger has to have a USB port (output) to power the vest. The heated wires have 3 control areas that you can select: front, back, and neck areas. My Picture #4 shows the instructions how you can select low, medium, or high heat for each area. It has an emblem (Picture #2) with the brand CozyHote. I usually hate these types of things but I actually like this one because its not as cheesy as some of these off brands. It shows that it is a "heated vest." At this inexpensive price point this makes a really nice vest that you have the option to turn up the heat when you really need it. Our temps in PA have been WILD to say the least lately and I like having the option because its been so unpredictable. The elements in the jacket do not make it uncomfortable to have as an option while it is very comfortable even if you don't need the heat. ... show more

  • Decent heated vest, must size up
Size: Medium
This is a decent heated vest to keep you warm without adding too much bulk. The vest does not come with a power source, but you can easily put a small battery pack in one of the pockets and charge it via USB.
