The comforter arrived in a tight vacuum-sealed box, and came with its own bag, which is nice for storage. I have a goose comforter from Costco bought a few years ago, and in comparison, this comforter is thinner, but still delivers on coziness and warmth. Clean white color, great down coverage throughout. It has the tiny ears at the corners (see photos), which allows you to tie it up properly into the comforter cover (not included), so that you don't get it mangled up. After 10 years of using our old goose down comforter, we felt that the goose feathers finally started to loose the original insulation or at least after washing, they were not as evenly distributed any more as at the beginning and so we figured it was time for a new one and this one didn't disappoint. So much better than the old one right from the beginning. Very lightweight, but still keeping us warm during these current cold early spring days. We have been using it now for a few weeks and there's really nothing to complain. Perfect stitches - no open seams anywhere and the set comes even with a great carry or storage bag. My wife likes it too for the comfort and insulation and even more that it can be machine washed which she already did with the old one, but of course we are still using a cover to protect it, even though it would be already very comfortable without, but like that we don't have to wash it as often so we can extend the lifetime of this awesome comforter. ... show more

Very soft, comfortable and warm blanket. Light enough to feel good and heavy enough to be tucked in place. I felt like staying in five star hotels in my bedroom now. Its worth the money to buy. Long enough to cover my feet and wide enough for me and my wife. One of the best blankets I bought.

Is it 100% down? No. Will you notice or care? Probably not. It is fluffy and warm enough, and you will probably be putting it in a washable cover anyway (I much suggest that you do). I bought 2 of these and none of the issues in the 1 and 2 star reviews were present in either one.
