My daughter actually bought this for herself. She has EXTREMELY sensitive skin (breaks out/rashes with virtually ANY product, especially when it has fragrance), and we have had to use sensitive products with just about everything (soaps, shampoos, laundry detergents, lotions, etc.). Her skin gets pretty dry/flaky/scaly in the winter and red/oily/inflamed in the summer. Well, this past winter her skin was VERY dry, and her friend recommended this product (friend supposedly has sensitive skin as well). So she bought it, and used it (inconsistently though) throughout this past winter. She stated the smell was ok, nice/fresh, but not really descriptive (she couldn't really state, "it smelled sweet/like flowers/like a perfume/woodsy/earthy/etc."). She admitted that she could never really get into a routine of using it consistently, but stated that even when she used it one time (and even more when she actually used it several times consecutively) it really made a difference in her skin. She had virtually no dryness, no redness, no flakiness, and no itchiness. I have recently started using products by “COSRX”, and the only thing I regret is not using them before now! This hydrating face serum is simply amazing. There is no fragrance, and it goes on your skin so smoothly. Your fine lines, especially around the eyes, seems to tighten right up! My skin looked flawless, and radiant. I have found this serum to be highly moisturizing, locking in the other snail mucin products as the final step in my skincare routine, both day and night. Like other products in the line, I have not experienced any skin sensitivity issues. As far as scent goes, I have not found this product to have a scent, which is good. The product has a very nice slip with a similar viscosity to the Snail Mucin serum, with the only exceptions being white versus clear in color and consistency being thick versus thin. The slippery feel lasts until it dries, but it is not a bad thing. However, if you go to bed before the moisturizer fully dries, your face will stick to the silk pillowcase. Otherwise, I have been enjoying the product with its high moisturization and no skin sensitivity issues. Be mindful that a little of the product goes a long way. I just got this about 2 weeks ago to try out & have been using it 1-2x a day...I think it's been helping my eyebrows grow back in! I haven't been doing anything else different, so it's got to be this! I love how it feels, has brightened my face already & dries nicely etc. But I'm so stoked the most on how my eyebrows are coming back in! I wish I had before & after pictures, but I wasn't expecting this whatsoever. I guess I could take it now & again later, but man if I had it at first it would be such a difference to see! Do you like smooth, hydrated skin? Do you like looking like a glazed donuts before bed? Have you dreamed of slathering your face in snail goo? Well look no further! Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be rubbing snail slime all over my face, neck, and chest twice a day but here we are! This product does not have a smell and applies quite easily. My skin is dry. Like Death Valley during the month of August dry. If my skin was a girl as a bar, I’d be calling her “thirsty”. This helps retain moisturizer throughout the day and doesn’t leave a sticky residue behind. The serum is pretty thick but it goes on like butter. I like to apply this after my toners and serums to lock in all of that good stuff. I apply about 3 pumps and mist my face with thermal water after and then give her one last pat down.
