I gave this 4 stars and only because I feel like the dress is kinda “heavy” if that makes sense. the bottom of the dress has a few layers and it just feels a little heavy but not too bad at all. another thing is that the middle of the dress is a little tight, so if u have a bigger stomach like me then I would size up. Very good quality!! The stitching is great and has a zipper in the back. The sides of the skirt come up a bit more than the front to reveal some leg, super cute! I bought this thinking it was going to be royal blue but its more of a navy blue. Definitely recommend for girls with bigger butts! It will cover since the back is slightly longer than the front. So cute, but a little big. I carry my weight in my middle so I thought this dress would help hide that. I always run between a small and a medium, so I went with a medium but will probably return for a small. Super cute otherwise and at 5ft tall it wasn’t too short on me as some have experienced. It’s a very cute dress. It zips in the back so the fit is exact and it does run a little small. I wear a large and ordered a large but it fits nice and snug but not uncomfortable whatsoever. I couldn’t get it over my hips but I could over my head. You’ll need a second pair of hands to zip it up unless you’re crazy flexible. I’m 5’1” and 150lbs so it was a a tad long for my taste in the front but I tacked it up from underneath to my height and it still works. HOWEVER! Mine did not come with the sash that ties around the middle and just empty belt loops. Pretty disappointed because I love that part of the design. IF THE STORE OWNER IS READING THIS, please send me the sash. I do not want to return the dress since I like it but I want the sash PLEASE. Good quality and not sheer. I first bought this dress in a med (received a small according to the size on the dress). I reordered quickly since I wanted this for a baby shower I was attending. My sister in law ended up with the same dress... so I haven't worn yet. However, I have an upcoming party I'm looking forward to wearing this. I was looking for a dress that wasn’t too dressy and wasn’t too casual for a winter casual wedding reception. This was perfect, went with me knee high boots, and had a nice flare for shaping. I’m 5’3” and the front hit right above my knee but the sides ended at my thighs so it was a flattering shaping. I ended up sewing the V shape of the chest as I don’t have much to offer up there and didn’t want it opening up the whole night. Instead of the belt it comes with, I used my own belt.
