Reviews made me fear this would be complicated but I (a stay at home, non-handy mom) installed this myself. I cut one to size using my normal pair of scissors. The pieces popped apart easily and snapped back together flawlessly. The conecting pieces slid right in and fit like a glove. I used as little of the adhesive tape as I could as it apparently pulls the drywall off. This was as smooth as smooth could go. Easy peasy! I used this to hide some Category cables going to my router. This is a small channel so it is limited on how many cables it can conceal but it worked well for my application of 4 holding Cat6 cables. Installation was easy and quick. Make sure you plan this out including the proper spacing for the small pieces holding the channel together, before you start sticking anything to your wall. ... show more

I had to add my two cents after reading some of the negative reviews… Works great, easy to assemble. The only criticism I have is the lack of directions- seems all too common from these cheap products that come from china. I had no problem putting this up. Like all adhesives it’s best to make sure the area is clean and grease free. I used isopropyl alcohol and it seems to be holding well. I don’t understand the comment about it causing wall damage…. It’s a strong adhesive so it’s paramount to apply once with firm pressure and not to move it… you get one shot, it’s the nature of the beast. As far as the damage goes… try using a heat gun or hair dryer on low. Gently and slowly remove the strip. Spackle and paint. It’s not that big of a deal. If you cause a bunch of damage to your wall by ripping it off that’s on you! I didn’t have any issue cutting them down to size. The directions call for a saw. I read another comment confused about this… I think it goes without saying you should not use your heavy duty bow saw that you use to cut down trees… I lightly clamped it and gently used a Japanese pull saw. A sharp utility blade could work just as well. I imagine a dovetail saw or coping saw would work as well… Works great! Don’t let some of these reviews deter you! The negative reviews seem to stem from user error more than anything. Hopefully this can be helpful to someone out there 🤗 ... show more

These made my desk setup so much nicer. Quick setup that left all my cables hidden and organized. I still have a good amount of pieces leftover that I was able to use around the house. Highly recommend these. As others have said, plan it out before sticking them in. Much easier.
