It heats up quite well on the heat function too. We really like the holder on the side of the chair that holds the remote as well as having a pocket on each side of the chair to put magazines in, etc. It's nice to have a port to plug your phone charger into and then you can put your phone in one of those pockets as it charges. The chair slides forward so it does not hit the wall, I bought for my husband after searching since august, I would find a chair and delivery would be 6 weeks! I ordered this chair and it came in a few days! Massage and heat! Also will pick you up if needed!

be careful in flat position balance is off and you can fall backwards. I did, needs longer base or some sort of bar extender to keep from tipping backwards while lying flat.

I bought this chair for my husband who weighs 300 lbs. We did not have it for even a month when the back broke when he laid back in it. The metal attachments of the chair broke, the back splintered at the attachment and I had to try to get my husband into a sitting position so he could get up. He is in congestive heart failure and could not pull himself up. When I contacted the company about a refund or replacement, I was sent a mailing label that did not work for any carrier available to me AND it was going to cost me $100-200 to return it! I am not paying that much for postage to return their defective product! Not a very happy person about this purchase! Had to contact Amazon about the charges to return. ... show more

I actually sleep in it as well as use it as a chair. Very comfortable. The massage feature is nice but really isn't hard enough to actually massage you. Haven't tried the heat yet as it's summer!
