A nice lightweight blanket but still feels a little heavier than just a flat sheet which is great if you’re like me and still need a little weight on you to sleep well. The solid side of the blanket is warmer and feels like a t-shirt and the striped side is silky and cool to the touch. The blanket is nice and breathable. We don’t have air-conditioning in our apartment so this blanket has been a game changer for summer nights. My only complaint would be that it is very slippery and tends to move with you so if you tend to move a lot in your sleep it will end up tangled/bunched up around you. I ended up buying two blankets so that my husband and I could each have our own since trying to share one blanket resulted in one of us accidentally pulling the blanket off the other when we would roll over. ... show more

I had tried gel infused pads for the dogs, and of course the dog chewed through it and tried to eat the gel, so this is perfect - it’s washable. It dries just hanging over the bathroom rod, not even in a dryer. It really somehow keeps the dog cool with no electric or gel

Our a/c broke and as it's the start of summer in the South, I was desperate for anything that will provide some level of comfort while sleeping. Although I am not sure how, this blanket does work. It is thin and breathable (you can almost see through the weave of the blanket). My father called it "weighted," which I also saw in the comments but he said this because of the draping effect. It is not at all like a true weighted blanket. It's thin and light. I did not know what to expect. When I received it I was confused because it wasn't immediately cool. I gave it a chance anyway- I need to be covered by a blanket at night. At first it felt more stuffy than a regular blanket. I almost got so frustrated that I wanted to return it. However, by morning, I was cool, cold even. Obviously body temperature would lower during the night because you aren't as active. It feels more like that the blanket helps to disperse sweat which in turn keeps the sleeper cool. I've used it for two nights now and plan to keep using it. ... show more

After a week with this blanket, I have to say this is one of my best purchases. I have actually been sleeping through the night which is rare. I pretty much just use this blanket as my cover. I purchased a twin size for my wife as well and she sleeps with it as a sheet with the other covers. She loves it too.
