I've tried spray tans at a salon before, but I prefer the DIY route. I've paid the same amount for one spray, while Coco & Eve's self-tanner contains 10-20 full-body sessions and comes in a lotion form you can apply at home. Coco & Eve's Sunny Honey Bali Bronzing Foam is a vegan formula with 100% natural DHA and, according to the brand, "no nasties." The key ingredients are virgin coconut oil, mango fruit extract, fig fruit extract, and cocoa seed extract. It is a much safer tanning method than being out in the sun for hours or using a tanning bed. The application process is simple. I pumped the product directly onto the applicator mitt and applied the mouse to my arms, legs, stomach, chest, back, and shoulders in small, circular motions. A pump or two per section went a long way. The mousse dries quickly. You can shower off after 2 hours, but I typically apply before bed and leave it on overnight with no issues. The Coco & Eve Sunny Honey Bali Bronzing Foam has a tropical mango and guava scent. It is not as overpowering as other self-tanners I used. The tan looks natural and wasn't too dark or too light, and most importantly, it wasn't the least bit orange. It also lasted about a week or so before I noticed any fading. One of the very few self-tanning products that does not make you “smell” (we all know that familiar tanner funky smell…). This is a welcome surprise in that department as it has more of a Hawaiian Tropic scent. Since it has color when you apply it, it’s essential to apply with a mitt etc. for the most even application. With a bit of practice it’s a perfect medium shade (the dark is truly for people who aren’t fair-medium skinned). I love this product but a couple of tips: gently swirl the bottle, don’t shake it because I’ve noticed shaking it causes product to leak from dispenser and can be messy. I have tried 8 different tanners in the last 10 years and I LOVE this one. I used Bondi for a long time, but I check the ingredients on Yuka and they aren’t great for you :/ I saw that Coco And Eve was suggested as a better alternative so I tried it, and it has the most beautiful dark color. If you do all your prep right, I’ve gotten it to last up to two weeks, despite being in the pool and ocean, and sweating in the gym each day. My only word of caution is that it dries very fast, so I recommend working quickly to buff it out with your mitt or you will get streaks. ... show more

I heard rave reviews about this product and was super excited to use it. The application was a breeze! So easy to apply with a mitt, blended like a dream, no funky smell, dried quickly, didn't streak, didn't notice any transfer onto my sheets, great immediate color yo help guide your application...a ton of positive attributes! I left it on overnight and woke up nicely bronzed...like extended vacation bronzed...but it had a more red/golden tan base color that just didn't work foe my pale skin tone. It looked unnatural to me. I got loads of compliments from everyone else but I felt it could have been better if it had a more violet undertone. This is simply a matter of what skintone you have and what looks best on you. The product itself is really great. It lasted a good 4 days before it started breaking down in areas like hands, wrists, chest, etc. The removal by exfoliation only took multiple showers. I'm a newbie at self-tanning so I'm sure using gradual tanningnlotuons daily would have extended the tan, maybe a more hydrating daily lotion...and definitely a tan remover product will help with future uses! ... show more

Name a sunless tanner and I have tried it. I am a stickler for smells. This is the best smelling tanner I have tried to date. I has a light mango smell to it that is pleasant. Now keep in mind once the tan develops you are still going to have that self tanner smell when you sweat but this has been the least offensive I have ever tried. For an incredibly pale person, I have always loved this self tanner. I’ve never tried anything else but coco and eve impressed me from the start. The foam allows it to blend nicely so that there are no harsh/obvious lines. I really only leave it on for an hour and feel like I get a nice glow for my skin type that allows me to go to the beach without blinding anyone. It’s a bit more concentrated on the face and hands, so use sparingly there (or apply later). This was my first time using a self-tanning product. This product received very good reviews, so I thought I'd try it. I also purchased a mitt to apply the product. First, the pros -- I followed the directions, and the product applied evenly so it resulted in even coverage and color. I used the product about 10 days ago, and I still have noticeable color. Now for the cons -- I'm a very fair, older person. The medium shade was a bit dark for me. I have some freckles and other brown spots. The product "sticks" to them, accentuating them. I wash my hands a lot, so the product faded a lot more quickly on the tops of my hands and fingers. I used the product mid-morning, thinking it would dry before bedtime. The following two mornings, product had transferred to my bedding. Fortunately, it washed out. If you plan to use this product on your face, I would advise purchasing a brush applicator, as there is no way to properly apply it using a mitt. I'm glad I tried it. I may try to find the "light" shade and give it another try. ... show more

I love this selftanner. I’ve been using it for years. Being a redhead with fair skin this product gives me just a touch of tan. A nice glow that doesn’t look fake. No streaks. Color guide helps to distribute evenly. No orange coloring. Exfoliating is the key. Highly recommend
