  • Easy to use.
Came well packaged. So far, I have used it for mugs and shirts. Gets to temperature quickly and maintains temp. The pull down handle was a little stiff at first, but I added a little oil and worked out in. Now works perfect. Easy to use. The only problem with my machine is that there is a small crack in the control box. It does not affect the operation if the machine at all. When using, it does give off a funny smell. • Great customer service and value
My son purchased this heat press for me for Christmas. I have not had any problems with it until a few weeks ago. it just stopped working. I contacted the company and they quickly responded. they told me to check the fuse and showed me where to look (there was a replacement fuse included). I changed it out but it still did not work. I sent pictures of the control box and they told me that it needed to be replaced. They offered to ship another out at a discount price. I agreed and received the replacement in less than a week. My heat press is back up and working. The company was quick with their responses and very helpful. I have pressed well over 500 shirts with this press and no issues with it. So despite the control box going out, the company's customer services rates a 5 star. ... show more

  • Great customer service
**issues first... so I bought this on June 30th. November my thermostat went out and it got WAY a too hot, and I couldn’t see that because the thermostat was still reading as the temperature I had set, and became unresponsive. When I turned it off and back on it was reading over 500f and I was very concerned about this being a fire hazard. Now I was outside my return window of course, BUT I contacted the seller and they shipped me a brand new thermostat unit for my machine at no cost. Was very pleased with this customer service. Based on this issue though I would definitely recommend having an IR temp gun handy to monitor while using just in case. (I’d recommend this with all heat presses just to be safe) Other issue, since I got it it seems like there is packing grease that has either leaked from the bottom or maybe was an issue with the manufacturing, and has ruined a shirt I was working on because I was unable to get the stain out. However unless it becomes a defect with the machine, I would consider this minor (I will try to clean it off with some degreaser just haven’t gotten around to it.) Aside from these setbacks I have been very pleased with my press. I have made many shirts and drink holders, and some other things. Note the hat press attachment is more for doing the bills of hats rather than the front...I haven’t figured out a clever way to get it to work with the front of the hat yet. Changing the attachments out is easy. I used the smaller circular attachments to do shoes for my son. I haven’t gotten to try the mug press attachment yet but it does seem to be of good quality. Note that each brand of vinyl will have individual heat settings, it’s not one size fits all. So if you are having issues with the vinyl adhering or leaving a white outline, be sure you are using the appropriate setting. Once I realized this, I have had no issues. ... show more

  • Good for small business
I run a side business & for the money this is worth it. The press is easy to use & functions well every time. One thing- it’s pretty difficult to switch out from the base press to the hat or plate press. It’s a pretty frustrating process but I use it for shirts 99% of the time so to me it does exactly what I need it to. ... show more

  • For the price this is a decent press.
The quality is about what you would expect for under $200. It seems a little flimsy and extra care will need to be taken so that the springs and levers do not get bent out of shape. But overall it is pretty good for what I paid. Heated evenly. Pressed a few shirts and a hat with no issue.

  • Junk
I have gone through 2 of these. the first one the handle snapped in half. Onto the second one (that Amazon so graciously replaced for me since the company has no working numbers and does not get back to you to back their one year warranty). this one now does not turn on and I have a huge order im working on. on both of the machines the back where it plugs in burns and melts and does not stay in place keeps unplugging no matter how you have the cord. I have a hole drilled in my desk so it can go right now not being pulled. as soon as I move the arm it unplugs itself just enough to fry it. Save your money. you get what you pay for. ... show more

  • Great press for the price
For a beginner just seeing how sublimation works this was a good purchase. I didn't find it hard to use as some of the reviews have stated. There are not a ton of instructions but the basics are there. For detailed time and temp settings you will have research it based on the material they don't provided that and for pressure settings it's just trial and error because the instructions don't tell you that kind of info in detail. ... show more
