You know what, I’m pleasantly surprised! I got these because my hair dresser never actually dyes my hair the color I want so I have 2 different sets of extensions that don’t match my current color. I got them and tried them today and wow! I was nervous because the picture on here, the ombré isn’t very gradient, it looks like a drastic ledge in the center of the extension. But in real life it blends beautifully with my balayage. I only used 3 of the 5 given in the photo because my hair is so thin I can’t really do much more without it being noticeable. It added just enough thickness without being extremely hot. I did the burn test, and it seems like it’s legitimately human hair. It held a loose curl I put in for more than 8 hours. I’d buy again for sure! For reference I got color 3/8/613 Walnut Brown to Ash in 18”. Update 5/22/21 Just be aware it’s not 100% human hair like it says on the packaging and in description. My extensions have some sort of plastic mixed in, I used my styling tools on it and black something melted into my tools. :( The extensions still look great! But I could do without the plastic or synthetic material that’s melted into my waver now. :( Last image you can see the black caps on the ends of strands, this is what melts off. ... show more

I was so happily surprised by the quality for the price. I am a hairstylist and have worn extensions for years. I generally paid a lot more money for the same quality extensions with having to actually color them myself for balayage effect. The color matches perfectly, the application of the color on the extensions is beautiful. They passed the heat test of my irons set at 330 degrees. I purchased them to used to add volume to my hair for upstyles for special events but they are so nice I may be wearing them more often. ... show more

Absolutely hands down the BEST extensions I've ever had. I've had in the past tape ins, clip ins, and sew ins. I have thin fine hair, so tape ins and sew ins don't do my hair justice and can be seen through them. I prefer clip ins, because easy on my hair, but the problem I've run into with most clip ins, they don't hide well or hold well, or the color is off. >>I do NOT have this issue with HotBanana Beauty's extensions.<< --HotBanana Beauty's Extensions-- ••The clips are no snag, so if you get a slight tangle when taking out extension, it combs right through, but they hold really well, they are also comfortable!. ••The stitching of hair onto the clip is really well done, and with how the hair and stitching is done, the clips look natural under the hair if they peek through. It literally looks seamless. ••The hair is thick but not overly thick so it looks so natural. Which is an absolute plus. Because if it's too thick and you have thin fine hair, it looks fake. Hotbanana does it in a way that it's natural. If you have thick hair you would need more than one set. I have thin fine hair, I only needed one set. ••My absolute FAVORITE part of these extensions?! THE COLOR MATCH IS IMPECCABLE!! I have has issues color matching past extensions, it was always blamed on monitors being different colors etc. But the hair was all wrong. This is the first time I had purchased hair clipped it in. I was very impressed at how easily it was to do. I know it’s not the best because it was our first attempt. But I really am pleased with the quality, the softness, and would purchase again. I have very fine hair so trying to put in multiple sets to make it bigger may be difficult for me to keep it. But ones that seem to do the job and it looks fantastic. Shows the bayalage look because my roots are coming in because of Covid and not being able to make it to the hair salon. Love it! These extensions were great for the price. One pack alone is pretty thin which I expected for such a cheap price so I bought two packs. I wish I had even bought 3 just because my hair is so thick and short. You can see how it didn’t blend well in the picture where my hair is straight but it blended beautifully when I curled it. I curled them at a medium heat and they handled the heat fine. They were soft but didn’t feel or look like fake hair. I had trouble picking out the color so my tones were off as you can see in the picture with my hair straight but I just washed them with blue shampoo to tone the golden tones out and make them more ashy. If you have short hair, I’d recommend parting your hair and pinning your bottom layer of hair up just so it blends better! I will definitely be purchasing from this brand again! I know I go through reviews to find good pictures to compare colors so in case someone is doing that I bought 16 inch Walnut Brown to Ash Brown and ashed them out a little more with blue shampoo! ... show more
