This product is amazing, my daughter loves it, and I love it because it also encourages the kid the swim. The key note is that it doesn't cause the kid to lean to much to the front or to the back to sides and maintains the head up at all time so it decreases the risk of drowning but like every product it shouldn't be fully trusted always keep an eye on the kid. Great fit for my skinny long torso child. She get very comfortable in it from the first wear. The crotch pad does like to move all over the place though so that would be my Only complaint. We have used this life jacket only 5 times so I can’t not comment on the durability
