I've had this product now for a good minute. First impressions were a tad rough. The foam inside I wish was smaller chunks. Maybe Shredded a bit more because you can feel the bigger peices. The cover is soft and comfortable. The color is rich and as shown. It definitely takes up a good bit of space as it flattens once sat in but is easy to fluff up. It had an original smell thay threw Me off but definitely aired out within a week. Definitely a good buy compared to the others if you're looking for a cheaper version. Ok, so I spent A LONG TIME contemplating which sack to get, and had ordered (not chill sack) one from a FB add unfortunately which turned out to only be just a bag, and no stuffing (then they hit me with some fine print when I complained), so then I was even more leary of getting anything. I had always had LoveSacs growing up at my parents, and didn't want to be disappointed by a budget option, since I also didn't want to fork out for one. I had several different brands in my cart, and almost pulled the trigger on the CordaRoys one, but then by chance saw a review on there saying chillsac was better, and don't think I even looked at chillsac before, read the reviews and figured, without any disappointment that it was the best bet. I could not be happier, and I swear the sac (I got the 6ft one) is about 98% as good as a LoveSac, but for a fraction of the cost. The only difference I feel like is that the foam buts are a bit smaller chunks in the Chillsac, and they tend to compress A BIT more than the Lovesac, so it is less comfortable, very slightly, after sitting in it for extended periods, or after several uses between fluffing it back up. But, I'll take that trade off for the price any day, and couldn't be happier we chose the Chillsac. I literally almost sprung for the Lovesac and like financed or something, cause I was so mad about the other scam one I got, but so glad I held off. ... show more

First, let me tell you some of the inconveniences.1. It’s heavy and cumbersome. 2. It comes in a block that has to be torn apart by hand. 3. It takes a couple of days to expand. 4. If you aren’t spry you may find it difficult to get out of. Now the good things. 1. It molds to your body and provides support for your back. All our chairs make my lower back stiff. This does not. 2. You can remold it as many times as you like. I found that turning it over is the best way. You can mold it to laying down, sitting up, lounging. You name it. 3. The cover is washable. For a slob like me that is a biggie for a slob like me. 4. The price is right. I’d buy it again. ... show more

    • Funny smell, not enough fill, and not able to return

The product had an odd smell. Even when fully expanded, it was not as soft as described and you and up on the floor. Its very hot too. My cover looked odd too. Then after about a week, I realized it would not get better and asked to return it. You have to have professional equipment to return it and Amazon said its on me to figure it out. See below So, I figured it out. I packaged it, huge that it is, and UPS rejected it....twice. So now I am out the money and have a huge blob in my living room that is unusable. The bag comes with chunks of memory foam that have been vacuum packaged in very tightly. The concept is that when you open it, they fill with air and expand. A LOT! End product is a bit less than 3 feet tall and over 5 feet wide but you can reshape it a bit. If you want to return, the bag has been breached and you cannot vacuum the air out because the bag can never be air tight again for shipping absent professional equipment and packaging. We even tried to send back in HUGE box we got from Home depot for appliances. No go. Bottom line, if you buy this, its a commitment and the quality is not great. ... show more

    • Huge and needs a lot more filling

First of all, this is a really huge bean bag which is what I wanted, but I didn’t want to have to spend so much extra money to fill it up. I have flipped it repeatedly and allowed the foam to expand for several days and it did get bigger and bigger and bigger but when you sit on it, you sink to the floor. I already added 10 extra pounds of foam and it made very little difference so now I have to sink even more money into this bean bag to get it to be comfortable to sit in. It is very well-made, and will be great if I can ever get it filled right. As much money as this cost, I shouldn’t be having to do this. ... show more

    • Very nice, very large "bean" bag - consider the size!
We were looking for a large bean bag chair when we found this one. Yes, it's a bit pricey but it is huge! In fact, it was too big for where we wanted to use it so we donated it to the RV park clubhouse. We are full time RVers and intended to place this where the jackknife couch used to be. Nope, way too big for that. It comes in a relatively small but heavy box with the "beads" inside sucked down very small in a plastic bag. We put the cover on it and cut the bag open, then let it set to expand. After about ten minutes or so we realized that the description is pretty much correct and it would grow too large to get out the door. So before it could grow to full size, we pulled it out of the RV and took it to the clubhouse where there is plenty of room and it would get plenty of use. If we hadn't sold our 'sticks and bricks" house, we would have loved this bag. Please consider the size of this bag when deciding to make a purchase. It truly is a nice bean bag (by 'bean' I mean memory foam bits), and is very comfortable. ... show more
