I have been using this as a ski lock. The retractable locks that they sell at the ski shop have a thin cable that is very easy to cut. i know because I just did it to my old lock! With a new pair of skis easily costing north of $1000 I wanted something sturdier that you couldn't just cut with a pair of pliers. I would have given 5 stars if the cable were a little longer. Nice product, the dial spin easily and do not feel cheap. This can fit in your ski jacket but it's a little bulky. When using for skiing I just leave it locked to the rack. ... show more
