I ordered this pot for a gathering I was having and needed a larger Dutch oven. Unfortunately this took several weeks to get delivered. I borrowed what I needed from a friend. In the meantime, after the party, I was going through my basement and found an old 6 qt pot I had completely forgot about. I digress. It’s a really nice pot and if I hadn’t found an old one I’d definitely keep this! I just don’t use such a large pot very often anymore. I would definitely recommend!! ... show more

I needed a pot between my 4qt and 8qt and this one fit the bill! It’s actually pretty substantial in weight and seems durable. I like be the glass lid and it’s easy to clean. I made a soup in it and it cooks nicely and evenly. I do recommend!

I ordered this because I had ordered a 5.5 guart pot made by Emeril Egassee with a glass lid and the gap between the glass lip was so large even rice would get wedged in between it...not sanitary at all so to solve that problem I ordered this one with a solid lid. I'm happy now...
