Got for my grandmother. They do seem to work well. Only problem has been that, even when hearing aid volume is turned down to lowest, TV still sounds too loud to her. When it's low enough for her, noone else can hear TV. So I guess you could say they work too well. For now we just take them out for TV, put back in for conversation. ... show more

I recently purchased these hearing aids for a family member who was having difficulty with their hearing, and the impact they've had on their life is truly astounding. They have become a vital part of their everyday routine, bringing clarity and ease back into their interactions. Before these hearing aids, my relative was constantly struggling to catch every word in conversations, often leading to misunderstandings and frustration. People had to raise their voices for him to hear, which, as you can imagine, was not a pleasant situation for anyone. Now, he gleefully tells me how clear and crisp every word sounds, thanks to these devices. He's rejoined conversations and is enjoying social gatherings without missing a beat. The best part is the rechargeable base. His previous hearing aids were battery-operated, which meant frequently buying and replacing tiny batteries - an inconvenient and wasteful process.     • Buy these if you've been told you need to spend $8,000 for a hearing aid!
My wife went to a major hearing aid dealer that will remain nameless. She was told she needed to spend $8K to return her hearing to some degree of normal. We declined on that option and searched for something that would work without breaking the bank. After reading the reviews on this product decided we'd give them a chance.     • These are just amplifiers with no decernable equalization
The utility of these is most definitely in the 'ear of the beholder.' For me, they were useless or worse. For a basic amplifier, these would probably be acceptable, but bear in mind that everything is amplified equally. I tried several different ways to make them work. I sent them back. The price point was good. These have no equalization that I can hear. I have them set to the lowest gain setting and everything is still very loud. My problem is deterioration of high frequency response. These cannot be adjusted even roughly for any kind of frequency response slope. (I have others that allow selective amplification for low, medium, and high frequencies.) I found that the units did not seat properly in the charging base. A rubber band would correct the problem, but something that simple should have been fixed before the final design. They are extremely noisy even at the lowest amplification. They experience static from many sources: solar panels (on the roof), battery chargers, inverters, and switching power supplies to name a few. Probably a light dimmer would also make noise since these have a history of noise and are not present in my home. There is a noise level all of the time even in a moderately quiet room. While one can try to ignore it, it is still there. The fitting is acceptable, there is no ear wax filter and the plastic ear bud cups screw onto the receiver, so I am not sure that any of the popular wax filters will work. I previously gave a very good review to this after one week of usage with feedback from my mom. I am downgrading it from a 5 stars to a 3 stars after more feedback on the 2nd week of usage. It still work fine but seems like it is somewhat very sensitive when it touch the hair. It seems like malfunction but it is not. It just make very loud noise and non stop. Might have to do with proton and electron interactions when the product rub against the hair. It wouldn't stop making noise and have to shut it down for it to stop or wait for awhile to use it. It is good for home use but definitely not recommended for bringing it outside of the house due to the in convenient. ... show more
