    • Feels bulky and mine only lasted 10 miles on a full charge
It feels like you’re riding a tank… that’s good if you can make the ride comfortable. It is not. No matter how I adjust the brakes, they’re too sensitive but also hard to pull. The folding design makes the handle bars go to the side which is awkward, and the flip doesn’t hold in place very well. It has unfolded on me once and that was a lot of weight to handle falling at once. And what I’m most upset about is my fully charged battery only lasted 10 miles. ... show more

    • Worked great...for a month, now one won't work at all
I purchased 2 about 5 weeks ago (one for me and one for my wife). I almost returned them upon receipt as both had scratched screens and one was very squeaky and I can't help but think these scooters were used as they just don't seem or look brand new. I ended up keeping them (WD40 helped with the squeaks and I ignored the scratches on the screens). Today, we took them out after they both received a FULL CHARGE and after about 5 minutes, my wife's shut off by itself while we were riding. I knew the battery was full but it wouldn't turn back on. We kept trying troubleshooting and every once in a while it would turn back on (and show a full battery) but each time within 10-15 seconds it would shut back off again. We would troubleshoot again and eventually would turn on again and shut off again after 15ish seconds. This went on and on for over an hour and we never were able to get it to work. When we got back to electricity source we tried charging it, but the charger just stays "green" which it does when battery is fully charged. We have been very much enjoying these scooters but the fact one has already broke down in less than 5 weeks of ownership and currently is not operational is not okay. This doesn't even account for that we had to push the scooter back approximately a mile after it broke down. I called the number listed for defective product or troubleshooting and they told me they do NOT handle those issues. The told me there is nothing they can do and nothing they will do. I'm furious because this completely stopped working 1 weeks after the 30-day warranty and the phone number provided to issues told me they won't do anything. I asked to speak to the supervisor but the supervisor was "unavailable" so now I have to wait 3-days until Monday to probably be told the same thing. Do NOT buy from Brookstone. They sell what appears to be used or refurbished products that break right after warranty/return window expires and then they refuse to do anything to assist and dont care at all. ... show more

Got the scooter for my morning commute and it’s done me a world of good. I’m in NYC so taking the train everyday was my main form of transportation to work, but every morning, it’s packed to the ceiling. I only need to go 8 stops so at that point, I might as well get an electric scooter and this one hasn’t let me down yet. Felt heavy duty when I took it out of the packaging and the grips are really grippy. I have sweaty hands so this was perfect for me. The battery lasts pretty long and it rains a lot in NYC so riding in the rain was no problem at all. The front LED is pretty bright for its size, which caught me by surprise. After reading a few reviews I was a little scared to buy this but after using it for the past 3 days it seems I made the best decision. I am 140lbs & after riding for 14-15miles, it still has some battery left. I love the cruise control feature. The shockups on the front & back give a smooth ride even on a rough road.
