So if you have alot of hairs don't use the face plate. That's for like mustache or between eye brows. Use the leg one for you chin of sides of the face. Works amazing

    • This isn't like the old epilators, best gift EVER! Love it, easy to use, less painful than waxing!
My husband surprised me with this, best gift ever! He was tired of me plucking my face with the tweezers. Pretty painless, had to quit using wax, if you wax this is painless! I remember the first epilators and not being able to finish one leg. I think all of my friends had gotten one for Christmas and we complained about having to let the hair grow. Then we laughed about the pain and all of us talked about how we cried when we used it. I can tell you this ain't like the old epilators. I used the shaver first and it worked like my shaver, then I used the epilator. Legs are very smooth, smoother than using my regular razor! Very painless compared to the old epilators, only problem I had was around scars I had from old surgeries. Scars have dipped and getting the hairs were harder to get than the rest of legs. Getting older and having more facial hair and trying different ways to get rid it. I screwed up and used a trimmer, and it wasn't painful, but I had stubble. The majority of it wasn't dark, but my face was rougher than my husband! So I started tweesing my face, takes forever and it had to be done a few times a week. This is so much better, I kept telling my husband, how much I love this! Face is so smooth, less redness than plucking, compared to waxing and plucking it just doesn't hurt. If you can't handle waxing or plucking, then it will hurt, but if your used to either than you won't have a problem. I just couldn't believe how great this is! Will update on under arms, and how the hair on face and legs grow back. When I waxed the hair really never grew back thinner, have to see if this works! Battery lasted a pretty decent time, shaved both legs and epilated both legs and did face and chin. Charging time wasn't too long, so very happy about that. My other electric razor takes longer to charge and if I haven't shaved in a few days, I have to charge it to finish both legs. So, very happy with the charge time and how long the battery lasts so far. My husband has a braun electric razor he loves his and he made a great choice for me! Total surprise, not my birthday, or special occasion, just a gift for just me! I truly LOVE this, it really is the best gift EVER! Now my wireless headphones are the second best gift ever,lol! Totally recommend this shaver/epilator, a little pricey, but it works great and love the attachments. Very easy to clean, easy to take attachments on and off. Love the face attachment! This was my first time trying an epilator. I’ll admit to being a bit worried about how much it would hurt. The first pass was a bit painful, but honestly once you got started it just stung a bit.     • I will never go back to shaving!
I saw this epilator on one of those "best prime day deals" lists. I had never heard of an epilator before, but after very minimal research I decided this deal was good enough for me to give it a try. I am SO GLAD that I did! I have the type of leg hair where I could shave in the morning and feel prickly by the end of the day. This thing is basically like waxing without the wax. I have been using it for slightly over a month and here are my main thoughts: - Yes, it is painful at least at first. It helped the first few times to use it in the shower and epilate while the water stream is hitting the area I was working on. It also helped to go somewhat fast (esp. with the armpits). Just breathe, keep going and don't give up! It is worth the results! - If you are able to stick out the initial pain, it does get easier! There is less hair to grab each time, which means it won't hurt as much. I have been doing it about 1-2 times per week to keep up with it. I would say I have an average amount of hair. - I LOVE It for armpits - It gets me 100% smooth and takes several days for even just a few hairs to start growing back. Even then, I don't feel like that hair growth is as noticeable compared to shaving. - For legs, I have still felt slightly prickly afterwards. This is like waxing though because hair grows at different rates. There is always a little left over from hairs that are just too short to be grabbed. However, my legs have been getting smoother after epilating with each use. I think if I consistently use it moving forward, I will achieve smooth enough for my standards. But even with the small amount of stubble, it is MUCH better than the stubble I would get hours after shaving! The hardest part about doing my legs is the knees. - Bikini line is the most difficult. I am slowly but surely working on it though. Each time I am able to go further and further in. It does hurt like a b*tch though. Again, worth it though! - My skin can get a little irritated after epilating. That is also getting better with time. The first time I had a lot of bumps appear afterward. Those were gone by the next day though. - I'm not sure if this epilator is any better than other brands or other models. If you are considering getting one, I would say make sure to get one that is usable wet or dry. I also love how this one has a light to help illuminate the small hairs. I haven't gotten much use out of the shaving attachments though. I've primarily been using the one attachment with the skin guard and not much of everything else that comes with this package. So if you are on the edge about getting any type of epilator, I would say go for it!!! ... show more
