I’ve had this caller for several weeks for my dog. Has actually served its purpose perfectly. The vibration seems to get my pups attention enough that I have not really had to use the shock option. There’s the beep sound that will get my dogs, attention the vibration, and then the shock are the 3 options. So far this training collar has been extremely effective for a few behaviors that needed a little extra support. I encourage using it with commands as well. My dog is a jumper when people come over, so I use the command “off” while beeping or using the vibration whatever mode it takes for him to stop the behavior. I have noticed since I began doing that the last few weeks, when my dog does not have the collar on, I will use the command such as off if they are jumping on someone and they are obeying. Glad I purchased has been a great effective training tool so far. Also, it seems comfortable around my dogs neck. First few days it took him a little bit of time to get used to it but now when I have it on, he does not seem bothered by it or try to mess with it. It’s a nice light neutral color. ... show more

I was really wary initially to use an e-collar. I really wanted my doberman's training to be as "force-free" as possible. That being said, I have an easily overwhelmed Doberman. This collar gets her calm and focused. We initially only used the beep and vibrate and after about a month or so of that I began training with the feedback. She does really well on #6 & #7. I tried it on myself and could not got past 13. The highest we have done is #9 and sometimes #10 when she is in a mood. If you are nervouse about e-collars, let me tell you that so was I. I didnt even want to use a prong collar but my girl is just so easily thrown out of whack and ovetstimulated and I can actually say this collar has literally worked miracles with her. It's affordable and a cute color and the only thing I could think would need improvement is that it needs a loop for a strap. Other than that 100% reccomend as ling as it is used wisely. Great battery life, too, as I think I have only charged it once since my purchase last year. ... show more
