This product has been life altering for me and my pup! I have a 1 year old lab mix and he has had aggression and behavior issues since we rescuers him. I did not want to pay hundreds of dollars in training so I decided I would do my best to train him myself. Since buying this product I can confidently say that he is a completely new dog. He went from extremely territorial (growing at friends and family, barking his head off, lunging during walks) to obedient. We can take him on walks without worrying about him lunging at people or barking at dogs. The product is exactly as described and has a modern look to it. I previously used a training collar I found on Amazon that did not come with a remote and would detect barking. It worked a few times until my dog became desensitized to it. Whereas with this training collar, I am able to control when I feel my dog is about to lunge or bark and he instantly obeys. On walks, he looks back at me now before walking ahead of me so I can give him the OK. Completely different dog!! Extremely happy about this purchase and I hope it has the same effect on other dog owners’ pups. And if not, keep trying! ... show more

This collar was exactly what I was looking for. Slim, easy to set up, easy to use. I especially liked the video that Amazon had before I purchased this which helped make my decision to buy. I thought ok, I can do that. And I did. The collar isn’t bulky or heavy. My dog is 25lbs and he seems to be fine with it. The remote is slim in design with rubber buttons. Unlike some other brands or models I’ve seen that just seem cumbersome to me and awkward to hold. You have three features. Beep, vibrate, and shock (with several levels starting at one) It has conductors that you screw onto the base. Personally I took them off because the beep noise was enough to deter my pup from running into the street to greet any and every walker. I noticed the vibrate mode also worked without the conductor. So something good to know. I just tried it in my hand. But again, the beeping noise was good enough for my dog. I think this is an incredible tool for training. And a very helpful way to keep your dog safe without screening NO all the time and expecting them to understand. I just couldn’t believe how quick this worked. Every dog is different so I think you have to start with beeps, try it for a while with rewards. If that doesn’t work then move to vibrate, and then if that doesn’t work move to the shock and of course at the lowest level (1) and move your way up.     • Believe It - Better Than Auto Vibrate & Shock Collars

We bought 4 collars before this one and this one is truly the best. I very much doubted this collar but felt out of options. The previous collars we bought were AUTO beep, vibrate, and shock. Even though not related all these designs are flawed because they are based on non-adjustable timed sequences. Well stubborn little barkers get used to this and know they have maybe 30 seconds or even 90 seconds of putting up with a beep or a vibrate (during non-stop barking fits) before the most undesirable shock occurs. These auto collars do not solve the problem! Just delay it and test the resilience of a dog. Pros (ranked in order) • Stop detesting your wife’s dog • More peace in the house • Unbelievable! This dog fears the control and our actions of pressing buttons more than auto collars that actually went through all the sequences??? • It’s true, little barker knows we hold the power and he wants to listen when we are in charge of the control and the buttons vs auto triggering • I have rarely even had to used the vibration button and it’s only been for him jumping up all crazy when we return from errands as he is a Velcro dog who gets excited from separation anxiety • Good remote to collar ranges from the distance of our yard reaching little barker when barking at all creation repeatedly • Used to stink face at him going outside with us and now it’s made it enjoyable again • Battery life seems good on longevity Cons • Charger cord is not a universal design so have to endure the test of time and see how to get a replacement and that cost • I checked Bousnic website and looks like a warranty can be filled out so I’ll do that next Recommendations • I did try to test out the shock when appropriate and didn’t see that result on the lowest setting • I read more on materials with the remote and agree to recommend if you have a dog who will not respond to the controller beeps or vibration, then yes consider shaving that area of the neck down closer to their skin • The shock will not typically work unless able to contact areas of the dog’s actual skin • A cheap beard trimmer after some scissor used to cut down longer hair will do the trick • Then weekly maintenance from there with a beard trimmer or actual animal cutters but I don’t see a need to buy those • Just be careful on your buddy and go slow to avoid any issues ... show more

    • BEST e collar for your money!

I absolutely love this e collar. I was looking for something on a budget and spent hours trying to find a good one. Everything I read says you get what you pay for and that's why the 'good ones' cost so much. This e collar surpassed all my expectations. The battery lasts FOREVER! We have land and use this instead of an electric fence because our dog does not wander. It lasts over a month of 10+ hour daily wear before I put it on the charger (could probably go way longer I just tend to charge it once a month). We just watch her when she is outdoors. Waterproof is great! She goes swimming and no issues. I never ever use the shock feature so I cannot comment on that. The 'tone' beep is perfect- when she hears it she immediately picks her head up and comes to me. It seems to have a really good distance too. I LOVE the 'lock' feature on the side of the remote. I often carry the remote in a pocket or bag and that reassures me that she won't accidentally get shocked. Overall i would buy this 12 more times instead of shelling out the money for the fancy ones. Only thing I wish it had was handle/strap to easily carry instead of putting it in and out of a pocket. ... show more
